Patrik (Laine) has said, that they = some players didn't like him, so he wanted to get away from the Team. But maybe/probably the issues were also with the Paul (Maurice) too?? Hmh! ; /

Yep seems to be hard for the north americans to figure this out. Kinda like with Mikael Granlund who was forced to a role he had never played before, ruining the start of his NHL career.

Whoever edited this video, stop changing the camera angle right as he's shooting it. How are we supposed to see the artistry of his shot? Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

Ovechkin is my favorite player of all time and laines fav player too, but I actually think laines shot is a little better and a little faster. I just think laine lacks some passion

Exactly what those things have to do with his one-timer quality? What a dumb argument to make.
He might not be a complete player and he is still lacking many abilities to prove to be worth of his salary and draft number. But that shot is either best or second best in the world depending if you like Ovie's more or not.
@@kallekoski546 he’s a very good player but doesn’t have the second best shot in the world, as it stands pastrnak has a better argument, I would say Laine is Top 5 tho.
@@jbmntx8647 then we just have to disagree. Pasternak is way better player. And because of that he is able to get himself to better positions to score and more often.
But if you take all those factors out and we talk just about the shot itself then I'd say Laine is up top. He can shoot from various angles, positions, one-timer is so effortless, quick release on wrister, disguised wrist shot etc.
Ofc these things are not factual but opinion based but even though there are better goal scorers in the league cause they are better players overall, I think Laine has a shot that every player in the league would want for themselves. Ovie's slapshot is the same level and Matthews has a wrist shot just as good but combined technique overall I think Patrik is just phenomenal.
