Great job Philip. Great diagnostic process and intuition. Sometimes our "gut" is our best tool! Especially when we don't have any codes or real clues to go on. Something that I have noticed too many times to be a coincidence is that most of the vehicles that I have worked on that had tunes would often times not show any trouble codes or sometimes show erroneous codes. I don't know if this is the case but I think it's something us as mechanics should keep in the back of our minds at least. Great video and thanks for sharing! My gut feeling was exactly the same as soon as I heard the cranking rpm. Zero compression will always speed it up considerably. I’m disappointed in Lakehead Motors diagnostic skills. A high pressure pump ?? Really ??
Hmm. That Air Mass per Cylinder in mg/Hub is the mass of air per one cycle or 2 crank rotations (according to the internet). Never seen that one before! However, I am not a pro like you... I would think that would be a positive number? Good call to chase air!
@maui6446 going to see what it reads after I fix it. Found a video that suggests removing the throttle blade. Turns out this one has a tune in it and that's likely why there was no code for throttle error.
Here in portland. we have the worst dodge dealers as a shop we some times dependent on some dealers' input, but all you get from them is an arrogant attitude.

@mikeburdi3464 I found out this evening that the truck is electronically deleted so I'm sure that's why no codes for the throttle blade.
Great diagnosis. Just shows you how incompetent some dealers are that are supposed to know how to fix their own brand of vehicle.

Just throw parts and hopefully it works
Since truck has been deleted just remove the blade completely, it’s sole function is for the egr and only helps airflow by removing
@craigwebb2486 That's what I did end up doing in part 2. The only other possible purpose is an emergency shut down in the case of an engine run away.
