The magazine tuning tips and tricks is DEFINITELY the place to start 100%!!! I added all of these “optional” parts and I’m glad I did but it was the magazine tips and tricks that finally gave me magazines I could rely on. I did NOT have the required reliability until I followed all of the recommended procedures in the tune ups and tricks……
@@oWiKio the ruger is a solid pistol too, I had one before the tx22, the big kicker for me is the 16rd mags, and add the bumpers from tandem Kross makes it 21?
One extra round, so what you are saying is that I need to spend money to buy all that parts and all I get is just one extra round. One extra round and not like 5 or more rounds. One bullet, ONE ROUND just ONE ROUND???????
It is a single stack magazine, so there are clear limitations, but we pushed it as far as possible. We offer +5 for other platforms, just cannot be done with this design of magazine.
Meh. The +1 round is just a bonus. I’d buy them and am going to buy them so that I can get more purchase on the bottom of the magazine during reload. To each is their own though, you don’t have to buy shit. I personally appreciate the fact that Tandem does in-depth videos on their products so I don’t have to wait for a review to get a closer look beyond the website picture.
The extra round is just a bonus, as stated above. Zytel is a self lubricating polymer which provides smoother action, so the follower is less likely bind up and not feed properly. Tandemkross products are pretty affordable for the extra performance and reliability they provide.
What about for a Mk4 tactical? Mine has been having some feeding issues Ive noticed. Mostly the rounds get stuck in the magazine before reaching the top, also noticed the magazine follower will move extremely slow at times which probably causes it@TANDEMKROSS
I can't understand why ruger witch makes i.m.o. haven't come up with a way to get at least 15 rounds they did a great job on the mark 4s take down procedures I spent a whole day taking my mark 3 apart a reassembling it Then I found this company on the net they make a replacement for the little black dome behind the sights while thepis
Definitely is personal preference, these aren't a fix really and are more upgrades due to increased capacity, durable material, and more grip real estate.
$54.46 to do 2 magazines. I forgot to add $8 shipping because there's no free shipping, even on big orders. I like how one of the features of the gun is that it shoots the magazines across the range, but in order to sell $24.99 bumpers, you act like they have to be pried out of the gun. That's good stuff.
The real estate on the bottom of the magazine adds surface to properly seat and remove the magazine. Getting a grip on the basepad before the spring drops the mag is helpful to assure you have it gripped securely, and vice versa for seating the mags.
@@Josef_R you do have to pry your fingers to be on the flush basepad unless you feel comfortable catching it in your hand. Also, even with the spring and no bumpers, you still will have to get a grip on the factory baseplate to pull it out.
@@TANDEMKROSS I was just quoting your video. And no, you don't have to get a grip on it to pull it out. You depress the mag release and the mag leaps out into your waiting hand. What are you talking about?
@@Josef_Rthat's what I was saying lol. Just got my Mk4 and the spring shoots the mag out like a fucking rocket every time lol. I was down with the whole video until I heard "pry it out"... Huh? Are we talking about the same gun? WILD
Because if they did that they would have to sell the magazine for same price as factory to compete this way they can make more money by you buying a $24 magazine and $23 more dollars tuning it up making it a $47 magazine

I definitely need to do this upgrade along with my trigger upgrade.
you need to offer this as a complete kit, vs piece by piece.
The installation instructions were very well done, but there was no mention of any effort to smooth any edges n corners of the housing.
TK Makes Awesome Parts! 🤘🏼
Ya'll almost make me want to get one if these again, however, still love my tx22
I almost got the TX22 but ultimately decided on the Mark IV Lite. What did i miss out on?
@@oWiKio the ruger is a solid pistol too, I had one before the tx22, the big kicker for me is the 16rd mags, and add the bumpers from tandem Kross makes it 21?
I wish there was a universal base plate for the mkiii and mkiv 22/45. Do yall have anything in the works? I would love to see something longer bumper.
Absolute fire as usual 🔥
Thank you!

It might be small change, but makes a huge difference at the range.
Jesus, are you serious
@happysanchezjr.9162 if anything I get less jams. Especially suppressed
Is the body of the 22/45 mag exactly the same as mark IV? Can I buy 22/45 mag and convert it to fit metal frame mark IV by changing base plate?
Awesome products keep up the great work
Thank you!
What is the capacity ?
Goes from 10 to 11. Geared for lots of competitions that only let you have "10+1"
Thank you 👍
You guys have a video, 7 years old about tuning a Ruger mk3 22/45 magazine.
Will that tuning help out even more?
Tuning and upgrading are things we consider separate, both will help!

Will this upgrade work on the Mark 4 TACTICAL model??
it will!
How about a video next with similar upgrades for the Browning Buckmark?
We might have to do this soon!
Need this for a mkiii in a Kit

Just installed your trigger set. I love it! However, the wife claims you have created an addict. I will meet up with you again 😂
Very interesting. Thanks.
Does this work on the Mark IV Target model?
need high cap mags 15rnd
Maybe give part numbers, a place to buy, and the cost of the upgrade/s
The link is in the description of the video!
My man, it takes minimum effort to google this part
Which grip angle feeds more reliably?
lighter colored table covering would help show what you working on.
We have addressed this feedback for the future, thank you!
great video how many extra shots?
+1 due to the follower!
Informative vid🤘what brand is your bolt ring. Seen only 1 brand and many many bad reviews. Thanks

Great options to tune the factory mag. What suppressor are you using?
That is Luke's GSL Tomcat!

They are a little different, but we offer the products for both!

I need to know what kind of squishy table top you have
It's one of those folding tables from Walmart!
why do nwe need the music
Having background music is common practice for RUclips videos.
Take that Volqartsen ! Is that how you spell it ?? Awe hell, you all get what I'm saying.

Why not just sell the whole magazine already put together some of us rather pay the money.
