Keep en coming! Side note, i love the short pause the commentator does when messi plays that pass. Even him from the stands couldnt see the space for Cremaschi, and how he starts talking for an istant like the ball was lost and the action done, just to be shocked when cremaschi arrives. Pure gold.
Messi, Busquests and Yedlin are rested because they were playing two games a week to win the Leagues Cup and then another 120 minutes in the US Open Cup semifinal a few days ago.
@@Maverick-yx1ln This is an actual athletic competition, not the Harlem Globetrotters throttling the Washington Generals once again. The risk of injury was unacceptable, and Martino was right to rotate the squad.

Out of all of the folks I’ve seen & listened to on You-Tube &/or on any Podcast, I’ve enjoyed you the most !!! You keep your explanations & descriptions of everything Plain & Simple. Not for one team or the other; Right down the middle; “Just The Facts” !!! Thank YoU “Much.”
I'm so used to hyper-cynicism from Brits when talking about MLS. So it was nice to hear an objective take that's not pandering or knee jerk negative. Example being comments that start along the line of "but the defending ...". I sometimes would like an actual explanation of what is seen 'cause I think that's just a fallback. You actually explain why a couple of times. Appreciate that. Messi and Miami's schedule has been bonkers busy. There's also a game mid week and it just doesn't let up. Yes, he's a goat but a 36 year old one at that. Tata is trying to manage a 36 year old goat, two international caliber players that are up there in age too (Alba and Busquets), all three of those coming off some vacation time, instilling his system and his brand onto the whole team, an American media and sporting landscape starved for Messi, and three (now two) different competitions (Leagues Cup, US Open Cup, and league play). I can see why he started him on the bench.
Great comment this and glad you like the way I go about this. I have full respect for the MLS and think it is a legaue that is growing really well and doing it in the right way. I wonder if Messi is the one to suggest his game time and load as well? I think it makes sense for the decision to be benched, I just want to watch him all the time!
You have the best analysis of the game….only you make the most important pint that that last point was a TEAM GOAL in no uncertain terms! Jordy Alba!!!!!! Wow!!!!
Great reaction and commentary as always. Unbelievable stuff on a weekly basis, from my Miami boys, my friend. The city is on fire, and the buzz is everywhere. It was rough sledding early on. Good news, both Callender and Cremaschi are slated to be on the USMNT. #GoHerons
Great reaction as always. So glad that Messi is hurt. It’s poetic justice for all the rest of us OG MLS fans who respect the rules. I really miss your reactions.
LOL. When you froze the video and tried to guess the play I was laughing my ass off. You would never guess it 🤣 It's nice to see one of these commented by someone who obviously has followed football before, btw.
Messi as well as some other players like Busi have played as crazy amount of minutes in a very short amount of time for the leagues cup, plus open cup in 90 degree heat so they need a break.
Drake Calender is a great goalkeeper. He is always totally focused and reading the game well. Apart from Messi, Busquet and Alba the rest of the team are showing great confidence. The coach is doing a fantastic job at how he is mixing the players. The only problem is the defense.
For me the only problem is Diego Gomez and David Ruiz. I know Gomez scored a goal this game, and Ruiz had some good interceptions and had great reflexes to save the attempted hand ball against him. But Gomez and Ruiz both have the habit of making so many wrong decisions every single game they play. Gomez has a high ratio of off target shots and bad passes. Ruiz is even worse and usually tries to be Messi by trying to juke everyone and attempting to score on his own, failing miserably at it, and barely tries to pass. Maybe Tata martino is right and these bad habits can be fixed with more minutes on the pitch and can become great players by growing and maturing but right now I hate when I see them in the starting 11 or when they’re subbed in.
Loved your commentary. Tata is trying to get the team ready for when Messi starts traveling for qualifiers and awards ceremonies later this year. This club was #29 in a 29 club league. #15 in their conference and 14 points out with 12 matches left. Tata knows Messi will be out for at least 3 matches. So, its baptism by fire for players. They must perform with and w/o Messi there to save the day. If I was a coach of a club facing Messi I would have my analysts get film on Barca and show it to the team. This is the American version of Barca and tiki taka with lesser quality players and one maestro.
I'm also sure there's a rule of what constitutes a handball with regards to the ball hitting the upper arm, I think the rule is that if the ball hits you on your sleeve, its not considered a handball (obviously this is for short sleeve jerseys only lol)
Mate, I completely understand why you want to react to all of Miami's matches, but so many other great stories and things to watch! I've mentioned Atlanta United and Thiago Almada before. He was STUNNING in Saturday's match against Nashville. Atlanta nailed all of their summer signings and are playing some really exciting, lovely football at the minute. Check out that match from Saturday!
Besides giving Messi some well deserved rest, they are trying to break in 3 new U22 S. American signings too, on top of a couple of academy (what MLS calls home grown) players. They are looking like a solid team. Just curious how you think they would do in european leagues. I thing thry would be a very good Championship league team, but maybe bottom tier EPL??? I'm sure they would do good outside of the big 5 european leagues.
lots of potential in this side and the long term strategy looks great if they can bleed them in now and with the help of Messi, Busquets and Alba. I think Inter Miami would still struggle in the EPL at the moment if they were in it. MLS football is so much more open.
He didn’t start because he’s played 8 games in like 2 1/2 weeks. The travel over here is brutal. It’s not an hour bus trip to these games. Some are 4,5,6 hour flights
the camera view in the start of the second half is call the skyview it use a lot in the NFL. the skycamera get a great view u should check how the nfl use it

Football players retire before 30 most of the time, your body just can't take the punishment. Your asking for your 90 year old grandmother to run a marathon here, that is how insane your thinking is.

Eight games in 32 days, including 120 minutes on the Cup semifinal.

Still doesn’t make sense since this is his MLS debut. Happening in the most important city in the states.

It wasn't a handball opinion. If Ruiz were to extend his arms than it would've been a handball.
