    I watched Messi for a long time and follow football all around the world, what’s crazy is that people really doubted Messi making an impact in MLS. I live here in the states and people don’t really like the idea of other showing up and making our league look lesser and want to see those coming from across fail. Just so odd to me and yes some might not know about him but when we keep telling them he’s worth the hype the best to ever play the beautiful sport they still act in awe to see someone with so much class, vision and dominance. This is Messi’s deserving years as his career is coming to an end but to see him enjoying himself and bringing others joy it’s precious and should be treasured.

    • @donviajero2580
      @donviajero2580 Год назад +5

      I think the doubts came from all the veteran stars who have come over from Europe in their mid-30's (or even younger) and have disappointed. Miami experienced that with Matuidi, who was coming off winning the World Cup with France and was a disaster in MLS. He simply couldn't keep up with all those kids running circles around him in the suffocating summer heat. The same thing happened with the likes of Pirlo, Gerard, and Schweinsteiger. While at least they had a few good moments here and there, in the end they simply couldn't hack the physical demands of playing in MLS. Of course, it turns out that Messi is a completely different story.

    Man no credit to MLS quality but then they sound stupid saying “I don’t know how he saw that pass.” Moments later, they all play like fan boys and give him time and space. Maybe they didn’t move because no one, and I mean no one expects that kind of pass! Some of the best goal reels I see, no difference from what Nashville defenders did on the final the other day. 3,4 defenders stepping up and Messi puts it past with such perfection. That’s why he’s the goat!

    i dont know the likelihood of miami making the play in....but people cant overstate the fact that busi and jordi are also there. dixon arroyo has been playing well. yedlin getting better. chremaschi getting better. josef martinez a former league mvp. and most importantly, Messi is going to be teaching guys what to look for on the pitch on a continuous basis. its very plausible that they hit a proper run of form to end the season and get into the POs. World Cup qualifiers are gonna be what slows this team down...not their own play/schedule.

    Messi/Inter Miami will score their goals, the other teams just need to not whiff their chances, as seen in ALL earlier games. Had they been clinical, the narrative would be different. The danger for other teams is if IM will start syncing, getting better given they've hardly had more than a few weeks if that to train together. Especially the young talent coming in. I have to say however, without Busquets or Messi, IM looks almost below "average" a team.
