When Marvel takes over X-Men I really hope they can keep this intro theme song.
Disney owns a majority of the Xmen franchise now, but they own a bit of the MCU as well seeing as dark Phoenix is coming out
This is cool, but they should use the 90’s animated X-Men series intro theme.
@@zsoltbartus169 exactly my thoughts...we're in the same channel my man 😃
Zsolt Bartus I agree. Bring that 90s song and I’m sold
Hans Zimmer, unfortunately, did not use John Ottman's theme in X-Men: Dark Phoenix.
The film wasn’t perfect, but it had one of the best opening credits ever.

It happened!
In my opinion, this is the best intro 😊👍
I would put them in the following order DOFP , X-2 and this one !
Did u see the X men Origins opening?
@@Ognyan397 Nah, this one is definitely the best one. It's building upon the previous ones and improving upon it.
DOFP , X2 were better

Sad that they didn't keep this in Dark Pheonix. (Even iconic cerebro sequence didn't appear.)
Boy Boy yea that’s why dark Phoenix didn’t feel like the x men movie we have been watching in the fox x men Franchise, u know what I am calling it... out of all the x men movies in the fox franchise dark Phoenix is the worst x men movie of all time, and it’s tough cuz it’s also the last x men movie for fox as well

@@freefighter2794 yep... Logan should have been the last xmen movie
They should've kept John Ottman for Dark Phoenix

Nah M8 gotta be Disneyland now
Minus christ might upset people
@@ericboomboom8553 i know this is an old comment but imma reply anyway with what i've noticed. So they made the cross that Christ was carrying look like an X for a bit...does that imply that Christ was well...an Xmen at one point or you know...what the Xmen are?
Starwars .reaper I imagine that in this universe, most of those people with mythological powers were early mutants.
Heck yea
I've never actually noticed the Twin Towers at 0:40
Luc Robillard the twin towers existed in the 70s lol
JudeMarchisio It’s like they wanted to reference 9/11, but just settled for the towers.
It supposed to be asian economic crisis during 1997-1998
Its set in 1983
It also appeared in the X-Men poster from 2000
I really hope they can preserve this opening credits under Disney property. This is so iconic and climatic, and this specially is so stacked with historic references that makes me wanna watch over and over. So well executed.
Doubtful. But we will probably get the animated series theme used in MCU, like what they did with Spiderman.
@@shanewilliams9122 Press F for this man's hype
the historic references is because of the movie. notice in days of future past intro uses the same theme but with genetic stuff because of the movie also.
If they get John Ottman back then this theme will live on
It was there the marvels post credit!
I can’t believe they finally used this theme in an MCU movie! 😁🎞
Iwas thinking if they make this intro in avengers secret war or they recreating avengers secret war opening
I love the way that Christ's cross makes an X. Love that touch in this intro.
Jesus was a mutant.

@Leonardo Almeida Sadly yes. Don't watch Dark Phoenix
Imma admit dark Phoenix is the worst X-men movie out of all of the other ones fox has made, and idk why they put hans zimmer on composing the music don’t get me wrong he’s good and all but ottman fits in better
also no Quicksilver scene like in the last movies
what a waste
The most cinematic opening I have seen ever.
They kept this theme for MCU X-men! Was so happy.

So DP doesn't have this type of intro, uh?

When I first watch this in the theater, I have the chills when I hear the theme of X Men 2. I can the feel the nostalgia while hearing the theme and I'm glad that they include this in the film.
Man I ditched work to watch this movie and when this intro came. gooesbumps.
If there's one thing Brian Singer does better than all the X-Men movie directors, its creating badass opening credits
I like how the 20th Century Fox credits show up once the animated history reaches the 20th Century
Oh yeah didn't noticed before of course 😅 I mean noticed the logo but not the era it showing
And the Marvel Entertainment when USSR 😅
''As even X-MEN: Apocalypse has demonstrated on this day... Every sentient being possesses the capacity for change.''
I’m gonna say it, The X-men intro from these movies is so much better compared to the avengers theme. Just saying
First we got Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's both Spider-Man's in No Way Home and now Charles Xavier in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. I hope we'll hear the main theme in the movie.
Man anyone miss the old badass X-men intros ??!? 2019😭😭😭😭😭
The last classic like x Men movie
Say what you will about this movie, but if nothing else it contains my absolute favorite incarnation of the John Ottman X-Men theme. It has the fullness of DoFP’s and the clarity of X2’s, whereas both of those incarnations kind of lacked one thing or the other for me. Hope to God Ottman returns for future X-Men movies so he can keep on developing this theme, it’s borderline anthemic
I like that they seem to imply that Jesus was a mutant, even making the cross look like an "X". Also, a fight between Jesus and En Sabah Nur/Apocalypse sounds interesting.
Of course he was a mutant, how do you think water turned into wine or a blind person got his eyes back 🤣 and Moses was also a mutant that's how he parted the Red Sea. And it's possible for this universe cause a mutant built the pyramids too 🤣 so......
I really hope marvel keeps this score.as well as the style for these intros

This is by far my favorite X-Men theme song yet!
Despite Apocalyse not being as great of a film as DOFP, the theme remaster as well as the animation is the BEST by far. This is the X-Men's theme and nothing can replace it.
A miniature course on world history.

Apocalypse may have been a lackluster movie compared to the others, but that theme never fails to get me pumped. I really hope Marvel keeps this theme or uses the 90s animated theme for their intro into the MCU.
This sequence is the best 3D I have experienced in a cinema hall till now. Coupled with the music, I still remember the goosebumps I got. Too bad the movie didn't live up accordingly.

This opening scene would have been felt out of place in Dark Phoenix, due to the films darker tone and feel.
Perhaps I can mix Zimmer's Dark Phoenix theme and Ottman's main title score, then animate a opening sequence similar to X2, DOFP and Apocalypse
Ojalá en Deadpool 3 suene en algún momento esta canción: El himno de Xmen

Im disappointed on the fact that they didnt use this for Dark Pheonix(It was an Ok movie but no Post credits sadly)
What post-credit scene would it include to begin with...?
Love the return of the X2 theme in this when I watched it in theaters.
sadly we won't get this theme again for Dark Phoenix cause Hans Zimmer is going to do the score, even tho he wouldn't do another superhero movie after what happened with Batman V Superman
I think dark Phoenix was canceled, i don't know for sure tho
Let's hope he respects the main title
The opening titles theme can still be used, he can rework it. Fox owns the theme.
He will still continue with this same song for respect of John ottman
@Cleo yeah it's coming next month
Oscar Isaac's redeemed himself as Moon Night.. anyone reading my comment should go watch MoonNight on Disney plus from start to finish before the last episode airs this Wednesday it's good..
love this music
I don't know what happens why this intro song always tingles in my mind after hearing this tune
One thing I love about the DOFP intro is the DNA part shit looks dope.
Fun facts: Just like X-Men: Days of Future Past and some others before, there are no other opening credits at all, except for the 20th Century Fox, TSG Entertainment, Bad Hat Harry Productions and Marvel Entertainment logos, and the film title.
Bravo !
I hope marvel studios keeps this part 0:52 in the intro in future x-men movies
Definitely would be a epic way to travel though time ⏰
Literally the best part of the movie
At 0:40 if you see jesus cross its shape x. It means he is also a mutant
It's 0:19 smarty pants
It's like a ride in Universal Studios but it's 20th Century Fox
Bryan Singer's 4 X-Men movies are the best. In my humble opinion.
Damn, cranking up the volume on your headphones really makes this an incredible experience

This would be a great Doctor Who time vortex, albeit focussed only on human history.
For a minute I thought this was a mission impossible intro.

This gave me a terrible headache when i saw it and i thought i was going to die
Oddly slower than the DOFP opening titles, but still such a ride to listen/watch.

I hope they keep this intro music for the movies when the X-men join the mcu
However this music is awesome, they need to use the 90’s X-Men cartoon's music.
@@zsoltbartus169 they don't NEED to do any of the music you guys wanted. The mcu will probably make their own xmen theme which would be cool and have the x2 theme be an easter egg.

Wolverine left and took all that was good in this franchise with him lol.
this is the close representation that I have experienced when Im not breathing for 45 minutes in the ICU
No intro in Dark Phoenix like this one. There is another reason they didn't want to make a great movie or a good farewell for the saga. This theme is iconic in the X men universe movies😤
