@@Tom_H327 Apart from the drink, the fries are the cheapest part of the meal. It would be stupid for an owner to short someone a few fries and risk losing them as a customer for the sake of a few cents. Most of the time, it's just lazy workers who are the ones shorting you.
Stephen, Can I just say how great of an operator and leader you are!! you don't lecture people for wrong doing but correct them. You are encouraging and throw in a joke every once in a while to make peoples day better You also have genuine conversation with your fellow employees instead of just work work work. I wish you managed our local McDonalds. Id love to go to work everyday

Yeah a skill that any monkey can master with 15 minutes of practice. It's McDonalds. A job designed for the lowest dregs of our society can perform at 99% efficiency with minimal training.

The difference with five Guys, having worked there, is that they know that even with the bag being filled as well, it's still not anywhere near worth the price. They do it to make customers feel like they're getting extra value for their money

Always use 2 hands when handling fry baskets. Safer and more gentle on the hand. The first time I did this, used one hand, got wrist pain after some hours
Stephen, I am like you man. Everytime I am put on fries, I make sure that I fill the fry boxes or bags completely up. So many folks I see bagging the fries do not even bother filling them but I tell them this needs more fries before I hand the bag of food to the customer or customers.
You're meant to fill them up so you can't see the yellow stripes on the inside of the packet, that's why they are there. Tbh this video was chill. I'm still training but my first ever actual shift was fries and my trainer left me most of the time and I was handling all the fries by myself and I had to be fast because it was rush hour. Also their fry station looks a lot more practical then ours. I tried my best to make sure the fries were filled up as much as they can. Frustrating when employees knocked over the fries packets so I had to refill them which wastes more time.
Had double cheeseburger for the first time in 6 months… it was wrapped like the apocalypse during lunch rush….but it tasted like pure heaven. And you inspired that 😂
At my store when I'm doing fries I fill them full and not half full . There is a saying cook less more often 1 everything is fresh when thst is done 2 cook too much might have a lot of waste

Ok so I found your channel and cant stop watching but I'm asking a question I'm sure we all are thinking, What the hell is yalls ice cream machines always broke? lol
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Do not add oil. Add the french fries to the pan, stirring and flipping them around frequently for three to five minutes, until crispy. Cooking time will depend on the thickness of your potatoes. If you have a lot of fries, heat them in batches so that the bottom of the pan is evenly covered in a single layer and the fries are not piled on top of each other. This will help the french fries crisp up more efficiently and will prevent any steam from being trapped. The hot pan will burn off any moisture and you will be left with nice crispy fries once again!
