I see why you jumped on that deal now. Lol. I know I was curious about the backstop myself. I personally would get a 16 to 18 VR because I would change the turbo and get the serpentine belt issue addressed. I think the coolant issue came because of a porous block. Don't quote me on it, though.

You actually know what ur talking about for not being an owner, personally I’d go 2018. 2019 because they depreciated almost as much as 16-17 and turbos were revised and face lift

@sergioverduzco8295 I get what you're saying. My mom has a 16 Q50 with the VR30. She's an older woman as well, and I didn't want her being on the side of the road. I like the z1 turbos and how well they do in competing, so I think that upgrade with E85 and other supporting mods make this car a beast.

Coolant issue is because of 2 main things. 1 coolant evaporating through a broken coolant resivior, 2 the turbos also use coolant, so it could leak through there too if you have bad turbos. It could also leak if you have a bad head gasket, but it rarely leaks because of pourus block, there isn’t a place for a crack to form for the coolant to be consumed, the only place are the cylinder walls, but if that cracks you lose compression and your engine turns off.
