Fighting a bruxa in game is almost perfectly recreated as seen in the trailer
Yep. Small tangent, but the relatively major difference between the trailer and the game is that the vampire shown here isn't a Bruxa but rather a higher vampire in the expansion
@@TehIdiotOne She isn't a Higher Vampire. She is an older version of one of the variants similar to a Bruxa (normal Bruxa are more animalistic and similar to Katakans in their thirst for blood). The thing about lower vampires in The Wither universe is that, given enough time, it's possible for many of them to evolve to a higher state of sentience similar to that of Higher Vampires, Humans/Non-Humans, etc. Even Katakans can reach a point where they can develop a higher sentience, even being able to appear like a human similar to Bruxa and Higher Vampires.

If you question the preist and ask why he did it you unlock the true ending of the mission where you learn the mortition was a vamp that thought he became a higher vamp.

Nice video, funny thing is, Geralt doesn't have gray hair naturally. When he underwent the Witcher mutations, it stripped him of his pigment and basically became albino.
When he underwent the EXTRA mutations. He is the only one to survive the extra mutations (idrc what they're called) but he's basically a Witcher 2.0
To be fair in the 3rd game he is old AF, so he would most likely have gray hair even without the mutations XD

I've played the game, yet everytime i watch the trailers i get goosebumps. The Witcher 3 has to be one of my most favorite games, all time. The only thing i hate is that they didn't keep adding more and more dlc for the game, like i wanted them to.
Good to see older folks enjoying the new games that come out. My dad plays games more than i do and he's 64!
It's 2019, But still, TW3 is the best story of a game I have ever played so far.

I personally have the most trouble with the Bruxa. They're DEFINITELY not a monster to underestimate in battle. They're so fast too, it's gets REALLY hard to dodge at times. :\

Do you have any idea how long it racks to make a 4 minutes trailer. It’s completely impractical to do a hole animated series with this level of detail.
@@07calabria ofc i am aware how long it takes mate, i learned animating in school. but the level of detail and time taken are inconsequential, the real question is if people appreaciate the source material enough to dedicate the time and resources to realize it. plus, this is entertainment were talking about, so as long as you have an audience who appreaciates your work no amount of work is too much
I think is more about the money really. If you put a lot more work into it. It will cost a lot more. In the end it’s a business and it needs to be profitable

I love how people react to this trailer, especially to this beautiful girl being punched. Everyone always is like "oh, that's brutal, you don't do that to the lady!", totally omitting the fact that she stands accused of killing the wounded, stealing and cannibalism.
Well those charges are very likely totally false, and just an excuse for soldiers to have a fun execution.
Brett Harrison even if it were real, she was sentenced to hanging not getting a hammer to the teeth so the soldiers still wrong

"killing the wounded, stealing and cannibalism" Lesser charges than the raping, pillaging, and massacre of entire villages for no reason (other than "fun") you actually see evidence of the soldiers doing.

Seeing the comments here once again just makes me hope that the Witcher Show will be the best thing ever, just to trigger them. And on the other hand.. if it wont be good, it just drags down the name of all things named Witcher, so i dont really get why you would want the show to fail.

You should check out the Witcher books, they are pretty good with some interesting lore, backstories and lots of information which nicely ties to the games and makes them even richer. Anyways, great reaction as always!

Don't expect the show to be that good. They've clearly stated they won't use the game's visuals and style as a model because they want to have their own genre and identity...
AND when you see all the political correctness the staff is displaying on social medias and the casting's choices they made, i'm afraid the only monster Geralt will fight will be patriarchy.
That's not too far fetched considering the goals of the Lodge, which was exclusively female. The books are the big source as the author is helping them.

@@Craftee6 I know games aren't canon but they have portrayed perfectly a fantasy medieval poland and its inhabitants, so, taking them as an inspiration to make a live action show wouldn't be wrong.
Concerning the lodge, i tend to disagree ( most of them perish during the Witch hunt but it's many years after the end of the main story and the games take place few months after so it's a kind if in between alternative story, i guess ? )

Well, Netflix is distancing the show from the games and focusing more on the books' content since the author of the books and CD Project Red are not in good terms, and I am not sure yet if they are going to battle in court.
But it really isn't looking anything like the books either so far.

Might be a little Late but i Stopped playing the Witcher 3 when it came out aswell after 100~ hours. Recently started it again on Death March and I´m close to finish. I Think sometimes its just 2 much. The Game is demanding and after a while of playing it can be overwhelming.

The thing that kills me is that Henry Cavill completely owned this role in the show. And the only reason he left is because the studio started going against the story from the games and Andrzej Sapkowski's original stories. And Cavill was a huge fan of the books and the games. So he finally said "Fuck you I quit" because the studio kept butting in. The same reason Andrzej decided to try to sue Netflix. Because they kept sticking their fucking nose in and disrupting the actual lore. The series is now going to die because the big budget execs have their noses too far up their own asses. Liam Hemsworth is a great actor. But replacing Cavill is a huge mistake. I don't doubt that Liam will do a great job... But the recast will spell death for the series. And IMO Cavill is the only Geralt of Rivia/Butcher of Blaviken I want to see. Netflix... Why? You are now known for your bad decisions... and you now have one more to add to your list.

He is called white wolf not gray fox. He is not old either, it's the mutations that gave him white hair. The game is great but I worry about the tv show but I have Hope's like u that it will be good but only time will tell.

@@skyhawkslcb18 lol yeah 100 is pretty old but they live to 150 or longer and as they they say a witcher never dies in his bed. They never give u his true age in the game except mentioning a somewhat time frame but nothing set in stone.

I also want to add the mutations where the only thing that made his hair white, it didn't get whiter as he got older so no age has nothing to do with it. He was the only witcher that went through this new kind of treatment and that is why he had white hair ever since. So please stop bring up age because it has nothing to do with it. As u can see in the game vesemir has gray hair not white.

The series is based more on the short stories and the novels...had to do it because they couldn't base it on the game...too much individual variations in the game. Its not bad...

But I got one thing wrong - he was supposed to do one of the episodes, but he won't - I have just checked this in some polish media. He is a producer for all of them though, so the storyline should be fine, as long as Lauren Hissrich is going to listen to the man.
Avenged oh man I hope it turns out good. It’s got a lot to live up to! These must have been someone in particular behind the genius of this particular trailer though... I mean the other’s are good but to me this is one of the greatest pieces of short cinematic story telling I’ve ever experienced. So much emotion crammed in, and layered with such detail. Not to mention how it expertly ties in with the game. Pretty unparalleled even within its own sphere

Easy... All events in the Witcher games are happening AFTER the events written in the books. TV Show is set to be based on the books in collaboration with the author that wrote them. CD Project Red will not be involved at all. If You are looking from the perspective from any of the 3 games, TV show will be a prequel to all of them. CDPR went with making the games sequel of the books so that they can make new original story and in first game Geralt starts with amnesia in order for a player to learn about his past through Geralt himself, who is trying to remember and learn his own past and get familiar with the world he forgotten as the player is being introduced to it at the same time. All this allowed people who never read the books and the people who did to be able to enjoy the games equally to a large degree.
I disagree. It allowed them to enjoy it very well, but as someone who read books like 4 or 5 times prior to playing i can easily say i liked it way more than my friend who is nearly illiterate.

Well there is some drama in making of the show like making Yennerfer actress black and SJW feminism writers putting their ideas in the show. These are not 100% facts and I'm hoping they dont ruin the show. SJW writers are already attacking fans in social media, doesnt look good. Not best of start :/

fallout 4 is a Meh game compared to witcher wild hunt, Geralt is THE BEST video game character ever created, the lands and the lore of this game are outstanding and unique , the best in gaming industrie till this day, the main quest is a piece of art, and side quest are one of the best ever in RPG , the graphics was downgraded (damn you doors, real players know what i am talking about), but still on of the best graphics till this day, and if you apply some good mods on the PC(master race) version, it's F***ing gorgeous, with the two expention , you are in for +200 hours of pure joy ! what a piece of art !!!!!

Its 2 separate things, the games were loosely inspired by the novels and the show is a direct adaption of the novel. You can even say the games are possibly non canon compared to the books/series in the lore of the witcher.
The show was so disappointing. Wish it could have been all CGI like these cinematics, with the games' cast.

There's already been a Witcher series (and a movie; though actually, both are translated as Hexer, not Witcher). Back before CDProjekt made the franchise popular, made by Polish tv, with Michael Żebrowski as Geralt. It was also sh!t. Like, utter, utter, utter garbage - that's why it only lasted 13 episodes.
I dont have much hope for the show. It's clear they are tainting it with their own political agendas rather than trying to make a faithful adaptation. I've yet to see a show that's been changed to push an agenda actually be good. Trying to take a polish fantasy story and turn an extremely well known sorceress known for her pale skin and long black hair into an african american actor is just horrible.

First two season were great. Half way thru season 3 right now and not hating it.
