Thing I like the Goblin is that he’s similar to the Joker in some iterations like he’s not just trying to kill Spider-Man he’s trying to break Spider-Man mentally also I think no one can replace Willem Dafoe as the Goblin in a live action especially after no way home and the scene where he’s tanking Peters hits and laughing
The Green Goblin was conceptually inspired by the Joker.

2:37 I wouldn't say Green Goblin didn't kill Gwen for nothing. He'd did it because of his knowledge of Spider-Man's identity and relationship with Gwen, so he kidnapped and killed her to hurt Spider-Man emotionally and mentally. Osborn still regards her death as his "crowning achievement".

I think 616 Osborn is what you would call a "human-looking goblin", the scientific kind, because of Proto-Goblin, a product of an earlier version of the formula. Stromm may have found a way to suppress the cosmetic changes to add to the selling pitch to like say the military until Norman got him arrested. There's also other versions that do change a person to look like a goblin like Monster for example. I think Harry was exposed to the goblin formula in Spectacular Spider-Man #188 and once told the second Hobgoblin he didn't have the formula, because if he did, he would have used it against him to protect his family. He had all his father's equipment except the formula until he found it in his father's house.

Norman Osborn got the powers to be a god and after he succeed he bring his abusive father out of the past kill him and now he doesnt exist anymore!
Normanlly, I'd usually be annoyed when folks get even the little facts wrong. But Sins Past is awful and deserves all the scorn it deserves. Even if you calling it "Sins of the Fathers" was an accident, intentional or somehow talking about another event, I say it's all good.
It’s more like the Goblin CAUSED The Death Of Gwen! Spider-Man’s web really killed her. Sins Past was just - Ugh! I hate retcons , but retconning that story out was necessary. But MEPHISTO being responsible for Norman being the Goblin?🤬🤬🤬

Ultimate Goblin as a more serious chracter is infact a super muscular hulk like G.Goblin is wack with the exception of the horns. He should be redesigned with more cuts and wider muscles, while being more stronger & with leathery hard semi green skin..made to look more like an Orc from Lord of the Rings is actually much cooler & a very nasty but effective combat knife?

You said Goblin can lift 9 tons and that's only half of spiderman's strength, but I looked up how strong spiderman was and I couldn't find anything that said he could lift 18 tons. In fact, it said Goblin was actually stronger.
