Potentially they couldn't be brought out to the studio for Liam being cast in something else at the time?
It's possible the Force Ghost effect is much easier to do in front of a blue screen than in that panoramic LED screen thing.
why would they bring him back just for basically the “end credits” scene? at least have him do some voiceover stuff for earlier in the show…
also, his hair is longer 🤷🏻♂️
Because doing something like that undermines the entire point of his appearance in the first place. 🤦🏻♂️
We could be talking about Luke in the Force Awakens.
@@therealmistahjay - we’ve never had a “use the Force, Luke!” moment for Obi-Wan, where he’s the one who needs guidance… this was the chance, but they missed it. Obi-Wan spent three movies and a TV series trying to fulfill Qui-Gon’s shoes… he does by the time _A New Hope_ rolls around, but I couldn’t tell you at what point in the Ewan McGregor tenor he actually does it… can you?
@@therealmistahjay No. They wasted Qui-Gon. He should have been the one who inspired Obi-Wan, not Leia.
Liam may have only had a few seconds of screen time in the Kenobi series but it brought back so much joy that's remained for those 20+ years :)
It’s so cool seeing Qui Gon again after so much time.
Too bad this shoe was below average at best
It's a good show
@@jesseowenvillamor6348 the mixed reviews from everywhere says differently. It was an average show with some good moments period.
@@user-dx4hb5le4v Mixed reviews just says that viewers have different opinions of it, nothing else. Every piece of Star Wars media has mixed reviews.
@@squallstopher608 Empire Strikes back says otherwise.
@@user-dx4hb5le4v Empire was released to mixed reviews, what are you talking about?
Kenobi is fun but lets not pretend its this important.
It's nice to see the Liam Neeson is VERY much like Jason Momoa. They play badasses, but off camera they're utter sweethearts. Like Peter Cushing!
I wish those 24 years ago we had a show with Liam and Ewan about Qui-Gon's and Obi-Wan's adventures pre-Phantom Menace.
Liam hasn't aged much... He looks amazing!
0:56 Seeing a middle-aged Obi Wan speaking to Qui Gon....wow, I never thought I would see this!
Love how Ewan just stroking that beard, well in character
I love the way they act so well, It's beautiful!
The fact that actors are happy to come back to play their character again after so many years is beautiful !
So much passion and love from everybody involved in a series that ended up being a 6/10
It's very magical of the makeup and costume team to get Liam back to how he looked back in Episode 1 years ago, Like Ewan said, it felt like time didn't pass and it was like they are still doing the prequels.
We miss you guys😊 24 years since the film, block busters too
Two of my absolute favorites! Such a huge part of the love for the prequels...
I wish we saw more of him!!!!!
I love seeing Liam get so excited about the appearance
i absolutely love that even if hes been in the star wars universe(IRL not voice in the clone wars) for only a little bit, Liam still loves the character
I remember the first time i watch TPM in cinema and thought it was great. The scene with quigon brought back good memories.😀😀
Beautiful!!
I grew up with Liam Neeson as Qui Gon Jin. I always admired his leadership and kindness. I honestly found him and Obi-wan to be great role models for me. I always wanted to grow up to be a good mentor like them.
So this hit me in the childhood and now I'm crying. So happy. HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY to see Liam Neeson and Ewan McGregor reunited
just beautiful
Hes voice is so calming.
1:16 thats truly an Obi-Wan Move :)
Bro this was so nice. It gives a feeling of completion.
These actors are very well aversed & passionate about their characters in star wars. It's beautiful to see 😍
Liam neeson definitely made the right decision to return as qui gon in the obi wan show
I could listen to Liam talk all day
One of my favorite scenes...
The way he smiles after saying I’m on board like that’s all I needed to hear I’m there
Greatest surprise role return of all time in my opinion. When I saw this the first time I was completely blown away and so incredibly happy!!
