Not every person that has worked on Star Wars did it because they were a fan as it was more so to collect a paycheck. Putting all the gripes I have with the show aside, seeing Neeson as Qui-Gon Jinn again did hit me right in the feels. I still remember sitting in the theatre at 7 years old watching the pod race scene and being in absolute awe at the CGI (which still somewhat holds up today, especially the scenery), and of course the final battle between Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon and Darth Maul. I'm extremely thankful to my parents (or may have been my grandparents, I can't remember) for taking me to see it. I'll forever cherish those memories.
