Hi Stuart, great list (it must have been very difficult to narrow it down) that’s it….now I need to give my Day Of The Dead another watch 👌what a decade the 80’s was. Take care mate👍🎃👍
"Tom Atkins is a legend" truer words have never been spoken 👍 Great list Stu, the thing is a perfect film. Night of the creeps is great. The only two on your list I haven't seen is day of the dead and lifeforce, will have to watch them.
Love this list. Horror from the 80’s is definitely my favorite genre. I think because of the nostalgia, hiring video nasties from the hire shop on a Saturday night. Happy times.
I'm glad you spoke in defense of Duvall in "The Shining." I think many wanted her to be more protective and effective as a parent, but she is what she is: dull and unprepared. It's a great performance for that reason, and the film is among the greatest movies ever made of any genre.
Amazing list, Stuart! I absolutely love all of these movies with the exception of Return of the Living Dead. It just doesn’t do anything for me, I want to like it, but just don’t. Fright Night is my favourite out of all of these. Completely agree with you on The Thing.
Nice list! The 80s had the best movies including horror. I don't think I have ever watched Lifeforce though. I just watched my A Nightmare on Elm Street 4k yesterday and enjoyed watching it again as it had been a while.
