So many great gangster films out there But I would include some of James cagney films, old films I know but really good White Heat a James cagney classic. I just ordered the blu ray of Once Upon a Time in America that has the extended director's cut, which I'm excited for. No one did music like Ennio Morricone. Just absolutely unreal how talented the dude was.

Really interesting video, Once Upon A Time In America is an epic. Have it on DVD and think it is on two discs as it is so long. Good fellas and Casino probably my favourites. Got that edition of Carlito's way, thing of beauty. Haven't watched Get Carter, you have peaked my interest. The Godfather three my least favourite though a good film, seems lesser compared to part one and two. Joe Pesci is vicious in Casino. Gangster gold Stuart

Do you know the railway station scene in The Untouchables is a homage to the Russian film Battleship Potemkin? I'd have the original Departed called Infernal Affairs in my top 10. Can't believe you don't have the Coen Brothers Millers Crossing in your Top 10. It's superb. Would definitely get in mine. Wouldn't you also consider Pulp Fiction as a gangster flick?

@stuartgeorge2324 despite never being in a casino in my life they really fascinate me for some reason so I loved seeing the workings of a casino through Scorceses's eyes. The Cooler is another that I really like.
Its nice to see someone giving Scarface the respect it deserves 😊 i remember when the 4K of Carlitos Way came out and a lot of people were saying it was De Palma's best gangster movie. Absolutely no chance, Tony Montana is the OG. You should check out a movie called A Prophet, its french but what a movie. Cheers bud.
