    This mini-sun consumes just under 1000 watts, and puts out 86,400 lumens! If these were incandescent bulbs and not LED, it would consume nearly 6,500 watts! Total project materials cost was about 70 dollars.
    All music in this video is either written by me, or is my arrangement of existing works.

    hook it to a motion sensor in the bathroom, so when you get up in the night, you come back to bed AWAKE!

      Do you have some good places to get started for someone who wants to work their way into an electronics / DIY hobby like this on a budget? I've found some basic Arduino kits online, namely to build my own custom KSP control console, but the materials can get pretty pricey and it can be a bit intimidating to get into and knowing if I'm overpaying

    • @JoelCreates
      @JoelCreates  5 лет назад +6

      There's a lot of tips I could give, but a big one that fostered my love of and ability to partake in DIY projects is thrift stores. Reusing and re-purposing materials can give you a lot of practice. Even if you don't have a project in mind, you can be inspired by what you find/whats available. A KSP control console is pretty specific, and some things may be difficult to find used, but you could still repurpose things like buttons/enclosures/wires etc. You could also try and rewire an existing usb control device like a joystick, or something with buttons, using the usb board in there that is already mapped for many inputs as a controller instead of buying an arduino. The tradeoff for spending less money is spending more time, but if you want to learn, that is a win win. I hope this helps, maybe I'll make a video discussing strategies for getting into DIY cheaply.

    • @thurkagord
      @thurkagord 5 лет назад +3

      @@JoelCreates There's actually a really big thrift store a few miles away, I didn't even think about that. That's a great idea. And yeah the KSP control board is really specific, and more something to use as a learning process rather than something I'd use regularly to play. My background is computer science, so I've got a good head for software, but we got virtually no experience with electronics or hardware in my program so I never had much call to learn.
      Thanks a lot, and I think that would be a great idea for a video! Look forward to seeing more of your stuff

And the corn field on the other side of the road. But got many complaints that drivers coming up the road are blinded and hit or almost hit deer. The road points almost directly at my house then turns 90 degrees at the corner of my property then passes in front of my house. I don’t see why they complain.
