Thank you Brother Arnold. We still sin in this old flesh, and Scripture says those who say they have no sin deceive themselves and the truth is not in them. But remember we are saints, no more sinners (not even saved sinners). If we are still sinners we have not yet been saved. The Spirit does not sin, the new man - but the flesh still wiggles and wants to sin.
Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me Romans 7:17
And every letter the Apostle Paul writes begins with greeting the saints
My born again spirit can not sin but my flesh is nothing but sin
Human pride and arrogance want to add works to the Gospel...men loving being able to say they had something to do with their salvation. God is so good that He has done it all. The simplicity found in Christ has been so polluted and convoluted by those who want to take Christ's glory. When we get to heaven we will shout with victory "worthy art thou Oh Lamb of God."

This has nothing to do with this sermon. Of the 4 soils i understand the 3rd soil is saved, but carnal. The second received with great joy the word, but had no root
I received salvation with great joy, but after 20 years am not what i was
Why did not third soil have great joy. My question is it possible i am the second soil instead of third or fourth as i had that joy. Please help.

You're assuming Jesus is talking about who is and is not saved, rather than how the word of God (the seed) is cast into the world and what happens to it as a result.
