Another big step! We install parts that have been waiting on the shelf for, TOO LONG! Finally the radiator cap gets installed. Overall, progress continues on the 1939 Cat D4 / RD4 agricultural crawler with a D4400 diesel engine. 4G9986 "Lil Lefty" has never been so much fun and fulfilling. I hope you enjoy the shop talk, banter and commentary.

Can't find the right bolts? On my current project I have brought zip lock bags to put the bolts in on disassembly and label where the come from with marker pen. Hopefully this will mean the right bolts for each component will all be easily found on reassembly.
