My new season/player tips 1. For Normal, shop 2 3OS chests. Put 3x Lv12 sapphires in one and 3x Lv18 sapphires in the other. Why? Eliminates most of your mana issues for all of Normal difficulty. In Nightmare you can transfer over to insight on an A1/A2 Merc because you will need a chest with more stats. Keep the sapphire chests and hand them down to new alts too. 2. For Nightmare and some of Hell, the Smoke chest is best in slot. 50 all resistances is huge. With a few res charms you can easily cap out on resistances. 3. For helm runs words. Lore is the best for a caster or fire/cold/light are paladin. For physical melee, go Bulwark. Also Bulwark is great for a melee mercenary. Though if you really want the +1 merc skills then Lore is better. Also do look at the damage coming from the Merc skills, a few points in those on the merc go a long way.
Act two merc, w/ prayer, insight, and cure helmet. Prayer aura stacks with auras on those items. Makes you heal both life and mana. Great for mid game.
I prefer an act 1 frozen arrow merc with an Edge bow Tir/Tal/Amn. Since I prefer playing a Druid or a Necro, she gives all my summons a level 15 thorns. By the time I get to Hell difficulty, I will not use a merc anymore, cause they interfere with MF runs.
Just gonna stick with D2R. I played D3, loved it, put 2000+ hours into it. Based off what I see from D4, I think I will just stick with D2R for my diablo fix.
Will they open up the season 3 runewords for non-ladder play like they did the previous seasons? I want to try the cure helm on a prayer Merc but it seems that is still just making gemmed helms.
I wish there was more incentive to play ladder other then ‘You get your name on a board’. If after completing it you got a extra stash space like D3 I’d be all over it. I just don’t get the point.
yeah I already decided to go fire wall sorc but open with charged bolt and lightning/nova until 18. Leaf and stealth it. Then switch to nova or chain lightning once I find some gear.
nice vid, you mentioned where to get a 4os sword for spirit, whats the best place to get a 4os bow for insight from? Would a reflex bow from cows guarantee 4os from larzuk in the same way? thanks
I don't understand why you guys don't make any comments on Peace armor. + 2 critical strike, + Level 15 valkyre on level 29. Yes, A level 45 skill on level 29. It's ridiculously strong. I love doing that with my blade sins.
Zero magic find makes more white and Grey items drop. Then go somewhere with lots of packs you can clear fast and efficiently based on your current level. Cows normal for a spirit sword base, hell for 4os shield. Is probably the most no brainer
So many first night play throughs, people are so impatient they don’t even shop 25-30 res boots/helm/belt/gloves/helm, they they get mad when they get 1 shot by hell gloams and realize they wasted 6 hours, lol.
My friend and i played hardcore for the first time ever this season. We had a blast. I got my fury druid to 85 before starting a few other characters and he got his bowazon to 91 i believe before playing a pally.
@@codeninja1 é, eu vi que FoH pally é muito recomendado para hardcore. Holy Fire fica bom? Isso é algo que eu nunca testei......até que level você faz Holy Fire antes de mudar para FoH?
Remember; Tridents are spears! Tridents aaaaare spears! I completely messed up that without checking when I got back in ladder season 2, and I felt like a right doofus. Wasted runes that I didn't have a lot of that early.
Did not know about Ancient's being rerolled :) D2 needs a sunscreen pot for fire res >_< LOL you're baal wave.. so many enemy's. I almost fell out of my chair. MrLlamaSC Ancient's method . Invisible wall lol
With potions and Andariel/Duriel, never forget to also rack up several to your merc as well. Hugely improves their chances of survival. I have found Insight to be surprisingly excellent for bow amazon AND for Rogue mercs. So, right now, after 6 months of playing, i think i've made 4 or 5 Insight bows and 6-7 Insight polearms. For a manaintensive bow build, they're really good.
D2 is fading away thank God... you don't see new ladder hype like the past few. This vid is like a carbon copy of every vid you make pre ladder... just repost the old ones imo.
talk is cheap, destroy my character in pvp with your enigma only. ha-ha. Sry, joking it is definitely the maybe most op item ever and still in game. But I have some real criticism. 1. Gold, some of these vendor items can be very expensive. It really sucks to see something that would carry until nm, but it's near 200k.(can't remember what's cap on price on normal). So make money, have rich friends or have a stash of runes&gems you will sell for a vendor weapon. Could have used a tip how to summon 100-200k gold on normal. 2. Dropping potions from your belt... [] |-| , why not the cool "all at once" Or maybe even first fill cube with belt (can you?) then belt and just pop em open. Otherwise decent, nothing rare/new, but nvm. Starting the ladder is not showing tricks, it's for fast running what you know best. For slow melee classes probably diablo hellfire skip could be useful, just let me first master it, or you do it so we have all the info by tomorrow. Ok. Ill give one tip. Sell everything that you don't use on multiple marketplaces; Gems, Runes(not spirit or upgrades). Bases are what ppl need. If you find something worth several HR's sell that in some other currency, probably better deal than in game. Running first day only making spirit's might be worth trying. cu -rah
for tele staff, make sure you go shopping at lvl 23, so you can check only the ones you cant equip yet, as tele charges required lvl is 24.
I believe you can technically start shopping at like lvl 19 for.l that. I believe
also make sure you aren't just playing sorceress...

I wish they would allow plague as a helm runeword.. It’s a great poison Necro wand but deaths web is godlike.. 😊
You absolutely blew my mind when you said the antidote/thawing potions timer stacks. Been playing this forever and I had no idea.
Same as stamina pots, I always stack a few before running underground passage etc, until I get a stealth and stamina isn’t a big issue anymore
same :)
Great video. My favorite parts : 1. dosage of thawing and antidote portions 2. Just skip away from immunes
Glad to see your channel still going strong, man! Good stuff as always :)

Been playing D2 since I was a kid and I just learned about skipping Baal waves. Nice video!
How about the Chaos seal pop - I never knew about that either until just recent
Life tap is a great way to farm bosses while keeping your Merc alive.
My favorite early caster runewords: Helm “Tir Tir” Large shield “Tir Tir Tir”

You can look at the wiki to see the maximum sockets each bow type can get , you can always cube recipe reroll to get sockets

I use that armor on my Bowazon - so I don't have to waste all the points to get her up to a decent level ...
I use that on a barb then BO, then switch armor to something else once i head back to town.
A little over 3 hours to go!!!!
If your having trouble with Duriel, chug a thawing pot to boost cold res
If you find staff with only tele charges and no other skills, it costs around 17-18k, so pretty cheap
People forget that Insight does double damage almost 50% of the time as well (critical strike)
Really like yours video dude!
What is the best way to find a 4os shield like a monarch for spirit?
Hell chaos or cows. And you want to have on NO mf gear.
Zero magic find makes more white and Grey items drop. Then go somewhere with lots of packs you can clear fast and efficiently based on your current level.
Cows normal for a spirit sword base, hell for 4os shield. Is probably the most no brainer
Life tap and lower resist wands you cam shop on nm, not only on hell
Can I still make metamorphosis rune word on this ladder? I've been looking for an answer with no luck 😅
On ladder yes.

I hope D4 is good enough to make D2 go away, but somehow I doubt that.
