Okay so there's quite a few things wrong with this guide from my perspective. For a start, you've put all your PI into engine upgrades but nothing on weight reduction? That's the hallmark of a bad rally car, you want that the other way round or at least a 50/50 trade off between the two. Rally cars really benefit from being light, that allows you to run a stiffer setup on your suspension. You talk about Rally compound? Literally no idea what you're talking about here. There's Off-Road and Off-Road Race, you've defaulted to off-road race. The other compound is better for Rally cars in higher classes as it's specifically designed for mixed surfaces. For example Rally circuits/trails. The tyres you've put on will be great off road but very poor on tarmac. Not the worst thing in the world as you'll make the time up on the loose surfaces and they cost a lot less PI. Widening the tyres is a bit of a no no for me on Rally builds as you want the tyres to cut into the loose surface not sit on the top which is what you'll achieve by making them wider. You make this mistake again with tyre pressure. It doesn't really affect contact patch in the game, it does in reality but not in the game. It's all about optimum temperature which is where the telemetry screen comes into play. Moving onto gearing, you mention vehicles top speed. Well you're not going to get anywhere near that on Rally tracks with the exception of one or two. So you should be tuning for the max speed you want to be able to achieve, without making it so ridiculously gear hungry that you're constantly shifting for bends etc.
Im pretty sure if your car is already a "rally" car it comes stock w/rally suspension thats why you don't see it as an option because that is what's stock.
no buddy, you should choose the best power to weight ratio, if the car has 1000bhp and is 3 tonnes then it has 333bhp per tonne, if a car has 800bhp and is 2 tonnes then it has 400 bhp per tonne, so the latter is better.
They are named differently depending on if you use English UK or English US in-game. Hence why we spell tyre ( the right way and on the video) and US spell tyre, tire. Offroad race is Rally in English US. It does cause some confusion.
Question of the day: What is your favorite rally car in FH5?
04 Impreza, Pulsar & Quattro sport
Subaru 22B
Evo IV
Celica ST185
I use the gear ratio from spec sites on these rally cars.
Final drive: 3,37
1. 3,75
2. 2,40
3. 1,92
4. 1,59
5. 1,35
6. 1,16
@@philip_si What sites?
The reason rally options don't show, such as tires and suspension, is because that is the stock option on this car.
Thanks for this. Stock rally cars are a booger to control sometimes with the G920. These tunes helped big time!
Thanks for this guide, it improved my rallying for sure.
WRC 1992 Ford escort which I turned into 1996 version & 97 version

I mean you’re right but why the disrespectful tone? The internet raised you wrong friend.
@@mfsars1075 tone is extremely difficult to get right in typed form when you're undermining someone. No disrespect intended whatsoever.
You didn’t know there was a rally tire compound?
@@ashtonreed4907 yea. I've since seen Rally compound but I think it's just renamed from one of the other compounds
Great gameplay! keep it up!

i have never seen off road suspension upgrade. only seen rally, as far as that goes.
Great guide
🎉Thank you
So.. you should choose power of weight?

I think you game might be bugged because your offroad springs are rally for me and the tires next to the offroad wheels are rally wheels
