I've been playing assassin's creed from the first game i think the parkour here is a bit clunky in animation... But overall it's great to see the parkour is fully functional and has the same quality as the other AC games, unlike AC identity where the parkour is a downgrade from the PC games
And if you're wondering, most of the parkour mechanics here are taken from Assassin's Creed Odyssey
Hey keep in mind that this game is for mobile devices, so there's a reason why the animations looked so clunky compared to the pc/console versions. I mean the animations looks more smoother and fluid than Genshin Impact.
Although the game is still in beta, so the animations might get updated in it's full release
Yeah if feels like an odessey Reskin but that’s fine to me
Someone pointed out a climbing animation from unity where you climb upwards and slightly to the side
The only important part of it is it feels like old ac game not that good but still amazing for mobile game
and people kept asking on when this game gonna release, man... at least let them cook until it's ready for stable build
genuinely looks pretty good ngl, movement seems more of the same but im not complaining about the 2 new flip animations
Animations is very good for mobile game
taking into account that they are made from scratch, taking those of the AC RPG as a visual base, they are great

Not really lol look at at genshin impact and there games animations. These could def be polished up. Even shadow fight has better animations. These are extremely stiff
@@touka6589you're kidding right? This beta version alone has parkour mechanics along with environmental physics like when you walk into bushes the vegetations moves away from the character. Also when swimming the ripple effects follows you. The shader & Ray tracing in this game is way more complicated than Genshin due to its realism graphics.

The parkour reminds me so much of watch dogs 2 but with the assassin's creed core in it like leap of faith

The parkour looks like a blend of the new trilogy parkour and the old original saga parkour (AC1-Ezio era).
Yeah, it's kind of jarring, especially with those over-top flips added to the mix, I kind of wished that they had taken more gameplay influence from first AC games. I still believe those games had the perfect parkour system.

no it doesn't. it looks just like Odyssey on very low graphics on PC. the RPG trilogy with their default settings looks amazing compared to this.
The vast majority of the animations are ripped right from the last 3 games. Y'all just making shit up now.

The parkour motions aren't bad for a mobile game.
The new flip animation is reminiscent of oriental martial arts movies.
It reminds me of Misthios landing without taking damage.
I see some of AC Unity Parkour animations in there. That is nice

Damn, doesn’t seem like theres a manual jump. I see him spamming the jump button but the character only jumping when they hit a ledge
Edit: hm, maybe I spoke too soon? 3:56 he taps jump and the character jumps across the rope. I need to play this game
That could still be janky height detection or something, who knows...
It's a mix of ac origins and watch dogs 2 in my opinion ( for the landing animations mostly). It seems bztter than what i expected
Is there vaults? (Like speed vault, thief vault,...)
Not a lot of parkour elements im the world, but the animations are fantastic

Serious question, if you hold down the jump button the character will make constant jumps or you still have to press it once at a time
and, i wonder, a hidden blade animation would be easier than a dagger one, i wish the hidden blade becomes available mid game

@@sjwjsaw You care about how realistic parkour in a series with magical apples and staffs. The parkour in the other games are just as unrealistic. In unity you can jump from an extrememe height grab a ledge and survive.

Highly dissapointing due to the fact that the previous ac games have better parkour but it is still a pretty decent game though, regarding it is in mobile.
What a shame that they decided to make this game on mobile, I won’t play it, but will read a summary of the story since it is quite interesting lore wise.

Too many icons on screen, god. Why devs stopped to use contextual icons? Looks like a generic gatcha in that sense. Hope the overall is good and better

@@kenni33131. Well for one the parkour here actually looks interesting… unlike valhallas slow,bland,robotic,clunky, unsatisfying excuse for a parkour system. (Jade also has more interesting animations)

Only thing Valhalla has a pass for is the graphics and “cutscenes”

so they finally make a japanese AC game and it's mobile only? jesus what a waste. oh well, the series has been long dead either way, not like it would've been good to begin with.
This is set in china. There is a Japanese AC in development but it'll be a RPG.

that tends to happen when you make a mobile game
well any better than this. this probably won't be playable for many of their fans.
If it looked any better most people's phones would either run out of storage or heat up enough to iron shirts with.
