Lap 3 isn't a different ecu it's a tune
Its a piggyback not a ecu.
@@MJT-DA Actually, you're both incorrect. I have a G70 and can tell you from experience that LAP3 sends you an entirely new ECU module. You physically remove the factory ECU and install the LAP3 modified one, which is admittedly a bit of a PITA. (that's why it's twice the price of doing a typical e-tune and installing it via OBD2) Something like the JB4 tuning solution would be an example of a piggyback tune for the G70, as the factory ECU remains untouched.
@@TallTimbersUSA Oh thanks for the correction!
@@TallTimbersUSA is there a ECU tune out there that doesn't disrupt the remote start or any other comfort features & accessories? I use my app and remote start all the time.
@@jjfb73 To my knowledge, there isn't a proper tune that doesn't effect those features, although products are evolving pretty quickly. A piggyback solution like the JB4 will probably leave those functions intact, but the LAP3 will not.

Promise you it’s not pushing 450
I promise you it’s pushing 500
Still has no interior ambient lighting, still has ugly blue illuminated buttons at night still has that ugly grille sensor still has no infotainment wheel still running that ugly infotainment system the fully digital dash is much nicer the outgoing analog is nicer. Still has a long way ago to he refined
You hating supppper hard. This tops the lexus IS, the infotainment system is miles better than lexus, i checked both. Genesis is better on that. If you want interior ambient lighting so bad get a g80 or the suv version of the g70, gv70.. out of 10 i rate the g70 interior 8/10, the g80, gv70/80 ; 8.5-9/10 , they are little but better interior wise and such
The infotainment wheel is not necessary imo. The grill sensor is not that noticable honestly. Ambient lighting would be my only problem tbh this genesis is beautiful
Of corse it won’t have everything you want, nothing in life has everything possible, most of everything you hated on is personal issues that only you have, not issues with the car itself.…for the speed and style it is way better then most German rivals at a price that’s way lower then the others.
Korean cars having worst cars, no durability of engines, electrical and mechanical features
That's a lie, one of the most reliable vehicles you can buy.
