Thank you for your directions. Nice straight forward presentation. One thing, I believe, would be beneficial is to jack the front of the car till the front wheels are just off the ground. This puts considerably less stress on the whole steering system and is less damaging to the tires.

You also get cramps in your hands for days. It’s great.

    Requires Honda specific PS fluid

Might help to repeat this process a few times. Since there is going to be a lot of the old fluid circulating. Otherwise you are just mixing two of them together.

One big correction to the guide: definitely do NOT use "general" power steering fluid. At the very least use fluid specifically made for Honda/Acura vehicles. For a few dollars more you can use Genuine Honda fluid from the dealer. My local Honda dealership was actually $1.50 cheaper than the auto parts stores bottles.

Don’t change P/S fluid . Flush it and will get 100% new fluid in the system . Which one you like ?

If you want to keep for Honda/Acura vehicle for long PLEASE do not do this. 1. You are NOT suppose to run the PS pump EMPTY at all. 2. Please use genuine Honda PS fluid.

This will destroy your pump and rack. By not using factory fluid

You don't need use factory or oem. Just whatever say compatible with your car model. Even an autozone brand is fine as long it say compatible with honda etcc or whatever your model is

@@JohnT2088 Many get sold, or scared, into only buying from the dealer. The dealer does not manufacture anything, and just have 3rd party vendors put the dealer's brand on the product. It's all marketing folks.

@@aakudevBut they recommend using a Honda OEM fluid. Definitely do NOT use general power steering fluid. It may look the same but you will have problems. At the very least, use fluid specifically made for Honda/Acura
