    The proper way to clear the air is to actually leave the top off the reservoir and turn the wheel to full lock each side a few times

    • @projectskadi9354
      @projectskadi9354 Месяц назад

      The manual says turning the wheel to the lock position can cause damage to the pump

    • @fuongbregas
      @fuongbregas 24 дня назад

      @@projectskadi9354 if you leave it there in long period, yes, but for short time, no. If you park on a slope, you must turn the wheels.

    It's so relaxing and satisfying to watch someone who knows what they're doing work.
    This procedure is better than the Honda service manual.

    Great video! Nice, clear and straight to the point. I prefer 10000x more to "lose" some minutes doing that flush with the car off than running the pump dry. People really underestimate how fast the fluid flows when the engine is running and how much wear you can make in the pump for a few seconds dry.

    Got my answer. The proper tube we want to use is 3/8 inch inner diameter which can be used to plug the reservoir AND for the return line. You also want to get 3/8-in x 3/8-in barb fitting to connect the clear tube and return line.

    Hey thanks for the sharing the video! I have watched a few of these already. Is it okay to jack the car from the front side of the vehicle without the jack stands to get both front tires up? Since I don’t plan on working below the vehicle. Also when you jack the under the front of the car. From where exactly are you jacking the car from? What’s that part called & does the frame of the vehicle run along that area..

  • @cryeredd7563

    if you put jack stands under the car, you should lower the car onto them, but leave a some pressure on the jack as well. they aren't gonna help if that car slides off the jack to one side-- might even punch a hole in the bottom of the car. you'd be better off not even using the jacks if youre going to do it that way ((wheels on, and stands w the gap))
