As a DC fan, I'm very excited for this. Looking at the hero cards, I'm pleased how much more interesting they are.
I love the United system. Marvel United has been my favourite game since I got Season 2, I'm so excited for DC United!

I mean, there's been Villains that do stuff only when they're Under Pressure (the first mission is completed), but DC Super Heroes United is the first time it has been giving a special symbol that is used throughout the set.
It seems like that's the biggest "change" for this set. Having better and more consistent iconography for effects. And I'm all for it :)
In 13:00 the card says at the end of the turn, so u shouldnt be able to deal 3 dmg to joker that turn. Its a lot of texts everywhere so mistakes happen, but still great video im lovin it and definitely will be backing this. Thank you for the preview.
Yeah, someone else noticed that error too. Since I got lucky and Lex didn't end up bam-ing that turn, I think things would have worked out about the same in the end :)
New mic sounds fabulous Mike! Quite enjoyed the play through. I decided to try and only get the core and stretch goals ... wonder if I can stay strong :P Love the game ... sigh, now I want a Star Wars Version oO

Yeah, I sold mine too and might get this. My sons like Marvel heroes but not as much as Batman and Superman :)
I'm excited for this! I own a couple boxes of S1 and a lot of S2. Picked up the Spider-Geddon box from S3 and I'll probably pick up just thef core box for this season. Spidey and Batman teaming up to fight Venom?? Sign me right up!
I think Venom would be in a lot of trouble in that matchup. Peter and Bruce can probably whip up a bat anti-symbiote formula or something ;)

Batmans Bagadget card at about min 19 says only recharge at end of turn. Cannot use that stuff on that turn.

Hey Mike, love the videos.
It sounds like the proximity effect is a lot stronger with this microphone. Not sure if you’re applying a high-pass / low-cut filter to your audio, but I think it might help to do so if you’re not. Nothing high enough to affect the bass in your voice, but maybe a high-pass filter at ~60 - 80 Hz would help to reduce some of the boominess and blowout on plosives and sibilants (basically, anywhere that a rush of air is causing the microphone to distort). Just something I noticed here that I hadn’t on any previous videos.

When I first watched your videos I thought the sound was odd, but I've since grown used to it and found it to be your "iconic sound" (and look) compared to other youtubers. So, even though the new mic probably sounds better objectively, I'm missing the old one.
Haha, I'm the same way! My ears are very trained when editing videos to the old sound. Hopefully we both get used to this one slowly :P
This looks awesome! Have you combined with the marvel stuff at all yet? Batman and Daredevil vs Kingpin or Superman and Dr. Strange vs Sentinels would be some zany fun.

Steve who used to be with the channel (and is now on the CoOp Guild) will probably do something like that. I got permission to send him the prototype next.
But honestly there isn’t really anything here that is “new”. It’s all been done to one extent or another in season 2 and the upcoming season 3 content
It's almost a shame that all the new sets have much interesting hero cards. Going back to the originally characters in MU almost seems a bit basic now.

I was talking to Steve and he said part of season 3 included equipment cards for heroes from seasons 1 and 2. That would probably help at least a bit.

@@kumanight The Generic and Retail Set Equipment Cards aren't KS Exclusive (unless plans fall through, and they never end up printing them).
The ones for the Promo Characters are exclusive to the Multiverse Backers, tho.
probably a dumb question regarding the hall of doom. It states that you 'may' reveal a master plan card. Why would you ever do that? Doesn't that make it more difficult?
I think it’s “reveal” as in look at it and then replace it. So you get knowledge of what’s coming

So it is better than original Marvel United, but what about X-Men?
I’d say the characters and villains are comparable to base x-men, though they don’t have the purple figures that can be villains or heroes.
But the iconography is greatly improved overall

They have consistent icons for villain effects that get worse after 1 mission is done, flip and ongoing hero powers, etc. I might be mistaken but I think at least a couple of those weren’t present in x-men
