The close up shots, editing makes the gameplay feels as if I'm playing as well. Most of videos I watched were an overll 1 shot angle where I cannot even read the text of cards and locations. You sir just got a new subscriber! This is how videos should be like for a game playthru. Hats off sir!
This was a great playthrough to watch! I've been getting into Marvel United, so I've been looking around for gameplay, and this channel never disappoints! There was a lot of great moments and despite it all going pear-shaped after a great first few rounds, even the final round was so tense and close, I kept feeling like there was some way out and rooting for Colin! I know Colin is not with the channel anymore, but this old content is still great and I really appreciate the work he put into these Marvel United videos!
Two observations: - Special actions do not have to be performed first. Around 24:00, you could have first moved Nick to Black Dwarf and then use the ability from Nick's card to hit him for two - Threat cards with the arrive / target symbol always trigger when the villain ends their turn there. They do not need that symbol on their card as well.
Yup I made note of your second one but I think with Nick Furys ability you have to trigger it right away. It states immediately activate a hero so it's not a choice! Thanks for watching!
@@OneStopCoopShop I thought the "immediately" was there to emphasize that the chosen character performs that action out of turn, not to restrict the rule that actions can be taken in any order.
Fantastic gameplay. I like how you cut your camera to the cards and zoom into the area of interest. It also helps that your minis are painted! Great video!
I have 2 questions 1- Going through the children of Thanos in some locations players earn tokens, can we keep the tokens to use at our final battle against Thanos or do we need to use them against the Villains that we are playing against? 2- Can we use power-up cards more than once? Thank you
So cool watching this video after seeing your first playthrough.. Its kind of apparent that you weren't super into the game back then! Despite its simplicity i really love the game, so its nice to see how enjoyable it can be to others, albeit after you stray away from the core box. I hope you've had a chance to try some of the X-Men content because they really stepped up their game IMO!
Great game!! I have a question tho. When you played the Soul Stone, should you play another Master Plan card right after? I think that’s what it says on the card… or am I reading it wrong? Haha
Great playthrough, thanks for sharing! Love the paint on the minis. Is there a place to find a price estimate for this kind of work? I have no idea of what the ballpark range would even be for the entire Kickstarter set
Thanks Wil! So I would suggest reaching out to someone like Vernon he will give you an estimate. All you have to tell him is how many minis and then they can give you a ballpark!! Thanks so much for watching!!

Great finish Colin. So close but no banana! lol That was such fun to watch ! I'm not that big into the superhero thing but the campaign looks really good. Guessing you need a few expansions to get all the heroes and villains? Thanks for the playthrough If there is a vote for another campaign you got mine in the ballot box! :D
Thank you Paul!! The game is light enough I can play with my kids but many of the expansions provide the needed variability to make this a keeper. We were so close!! Thanks for watching!!
>a few expansions It's CMoN, dude. There's like a thousand already, because they just can't help themselves from going full "FOMO"-baiting and ripping people off with "Kickstarter exclusivity". Scumbags.
Hey, I thought when playing solo you had to draw 5 cards per character instead of 3 as stated in the core box? is that a rule that changes on the new expansions?
@@OneStopCoopShop Oh, my bad, I misunderstood the rules, solo meant 1 character not 1 person playing as multiple characters? Welp, now it feels like I cheated on my first run
Whoever painted the minis should be ashamed of themselves. Since I'm such a fan of your channel, I'll send you my unpainted minis and you can send me the painted ones. Then you can re-paint your new minis and hopefully improve. Sounds fair, right? HA! I kid. The paint jobs are spectacular.
could you play another round of this? seems like you made mistakes on very pivotal moments and it would be nice seeing this played with better understanding of the rules and with current campaign going on

Colin isn’t with the channel anymore, so I’d recommend checking on Boardgamegeek. Sorry!
This was so much fun! I blame you and your enjoyable playthroughs on my recent purchases in the Marvel United Multiverse pledge manager! ;)

Does that game board come with a specific expansion? Would love to get my hands on that for when we play!

I think I can do that!! Thanks for watching!!
+1 for that with painted minis ...
Yesssss
Yes please!!
I know it works this way, but just for clarification; when you are playing solo , aren't you suppose to mix the heroes into one deck and draw 5
Yup but I'm playing as 2 characters so not true solo! Sorry for the confusion!
@@OneStopCoopShop NO problem, just wanted to make sure I was doing solo correctly
You are!!
Hey Colin,

I think I am selling my marvel champions collection and get this. I am tired of champions and this seems pretty good.
It's a lot of fun just know you need the expansions to make it work it. The base box is pretty vanilla

@@OneStopCoopShop Oh, my bad, I misunderstood the rules, solo meant 1 character not 1 person playing as multiple characters? Welp, now it feels like I cheated on my first run
So solo rules is 3 characters controlled by one hand. I was playing as 2 seperate players which meant I had two seperate hands etc.!
