I was constantly searching for something to help with my bent knees. But all the resources online seem to be geared towards other issues. My knees arent bent while walking/standing and nor do I have bow/knock knees. Then someone wrote online that tight hamstrings could be the reason behind "bent knees" or inability to straighten legs while doing lying leg lifts or even lift/straighten my leg while standing. Lift my thighs just fine but am unable to straighten it knee onwards . Been trying this video out and can feel the hamstring stretch. Love this video and I'm super relieved at finding a resource addressing this specific problem.

    Just love these videos. ❤️❤️❤️
    One caveat though.
People with lower back pain due to 'anterior pelvic tilt'(APT) would do well to also strengthen the hamstrings and glutes and stretch the hip flexors to prevent back pain. Stretched out hamstrings might lead to aggravating the back pain due to APT.
Best to pair up exercises that first stretch *and-then* strengthen a given muscle group.
See BnBs videos on that topic.

What a great way to start my day.
Terribly neglectful when it comes to warming up before cycling has been catching up w me so - even before gettingout of bed - *I stuck to these for the whole 10 minutes. I know these exercises very well and have even taught them. But sometimes it's this " baby work" that I slip up on and it really is critical, foundational even. *I moved on into ( much needed) calf stretches and ankle flexion and rotations then onto some bridge type stuff and back to the beginning. That li'l vibe of buffoonery as only these two can play out is just the icing on the cake. Amusement fuels intention and eliminates the drag of having to get off of the snuggly bed.
    Many thanks. 🌿🌱 `

Even when you bring both legs to 90 degrees, at the same time, to "properly" flatten the lower back? I'm using their words. I brought both my knees up so my hips were 90 degrees, then tried the flexing of just one quad at a time. I could feel my back was supported and I didn't feel anything at the backs of my knees but if my back was slightly arched then I felt stress at the backs of my knees and at the highest point of my hamstring where it meets the lower glute. Sorry, if your back is flat and supported though and you're still feeling that tension, then I don't have any other ideas. Good luck!
