Yea Sinister too oft gets lost in the Insidious shuffle. Sinister is the superior film of the 2 imo

We def need a Wednesday spoiler chat. Other than the mystery being a little bit too Scooby-Doo and the CGI it was such a great show! Also HH I would love to see you collaborate with the guys on the Slaughtered Lamb podcast. I recently started listening to their back-catalogue and their "Best and Worst" of the Halloween series had me dying laughing. They are now my second favorite horror podcast.

I’m not surprised. I visited my daughter and granddaughter for Thanksgiving in Michigan. My granddaughter Serena is into the show Wednesday she’s Ten and I’m setting there as a fan of Haunted Hippie thinking I’d think you would really enjoy this. I return home settle in wanting to suggest this show in your next chat. I find out you did watch it and loved it. 🙂 It was great watching with Serena. Funny as she love’s horror films too.
My 10yo daughter is a huge fan of the 90s Wednesdays but she hasn't seen the new Wednesday yet, we been binging on Tim Burton classics lately
However my 23yo niece got me into the Wednesday and for me it's absolutely perfect for what it is and was trying to do
I'll get my kids into it when they're able to appreciate the concepts more
I watched it with my girlfriend in anticipation the day it dropped and it's honesty close to a 10/10 all in terms of what it is and it's affectiveness in being that
Wednesday having her own shine has been a long time coming. She's always been a standout with any previous Addams Family films

I've almost caught up with all my need to watches this year. I finally got to see Bodies Bodies Bodies and I enjoyed that more than I thought I would. Heads up...there is one of the Helrraister sequels towards the end, I've heard, that has a very disturbing and gross opening sequence. One person I watch had a hard time even discussing it without turning green. I will see if I can find it for you.

I feel like the reason why solo reviews receive less attention is because a lot of us probably don’t wanna watch the review until we have seen it. That’s why I avoid them. Then when I find the time to watch the movie then I watch all the solo reviews for that movie (yours, possessedbyhorror, spookyastronauts, and Cody Leach for me). I just like to be completely blind before watching a highly popular movie to avoid spoilers. I know most reviews are spoiler free for some accounts and they have either a separate spoiler video or a separate spoiler area in the same video but I still avoid until I’ve seen it so I can have my own opinion on it first before viewing someone else’s opinion.

Haven't seen all them yet but you're on point with me on the ones I have seen. I would give Terrifier 2 a 7/10 for affectively doing what it intended and in a massively upgraded way compared to T1 or All Hallows. Plus being organic to the fans and the creators being of the people

Wednesday is one of my favorite Netflix original shows that I've seen. A lot of people complained about the casting for the parents but having not seen much of the original Addams Family stuff I thought they were fine. Thing is one of the best characters lol

Off topic question, how are you not cold? And about Chucky Season 2, I actually did enjoy it, even though it was weird and campy. I did have alot of fun with it along with some good campy laughs. In conclusion I respect your opinion.

I'm putting my two cents in that I want a Wednesday stream! Just finished it the day of your last stream. Great show. Great finale. My fav show of the year. It was a fun mix of teen horror, mystery and a couple things I'm forgetting. I did figure out who the Hide was a couple episodes early, but I didn't care. I think fred Armison was channelling the spirit of the old TV verson of Uncle Fester. That high pitched voice is a dead giveaway!
Sorry you didn't like Under The Skin. I liked it when I watched it a few years ago. Very much a sci-fi horror mood piece. All atmosphere. Some cool visuals in the alien spaceship"world". I'm still not sure where they were but I liked the emptyness of it. Spoiler : The ending reminded me of the Universal monster movies. Ya gotta kill the monster thing. That was my least favorite part cause it was so predictable. It dragged near the end, but I liked the vibes of most it. It's held together with vibes, not so much plot. Fun fact: All the dudes she picked up were none actors, which does explain their wonky performances. I didn't mind. It has a B movie charm to their acting.
I'm glad you're keeping the blood pact thing going. It made me smile. And Lianne's Lettboxd is great. She's a great follow. Not unlike Haunted Hippie! Haha
All in all, this was a super fun video that put me a great mood. I feel like I'm reviewing your review, or adding to it or something. Sorry this was so rambley. This comment came out very strange.

I was the guy I think you referred to who defended Chucky S2. Whereas I stand over ep #2.04's batshit crazy goodness I do agree with you re the B plots and side characters being so patchily interwoven. I do like that #2.07 effectively ended the series but ep #2.08 should have been held over till Christmas especially as it as fallout/set up the new board ep. It woulh have allowed the dust from #2.07 to settle. That was a rather lazy error by SyFy(?). Overall the religious school felt like the military academy in "Childs Play 3" but done far worse. Where it falls is it was typical Americans overegging the presentation of Catholism and having a fetish for extreme Christisnity which Catholicism in 2022 isn't.

I keep watching the Halloween franchise and I always wonder what Michael does after Halloween does he just sleep for the rest of the year? I need to know we need a Keeping Up with the Slashers I need to know what they do in their spare time I also watched The Batman for the thousandth time because I love that movie and I watched Werewolf by Night which was amazing if you haven't seen it watch it I don't like MCU movies I was never a fan of the MCU or DCEU I just don't care for them I'm more of a animation guy but Werewolf by Night was awesome I loved it

I love solo reviews, but I only watch them once I've watched the movie/show. I see reviewers thumbnails before and assess whether or not to watch as a way to avoid trailer spoilers then come back and watch the reviews, specifically ones with spoiler talk. This method has been great for me going into movies blindly while not wasting my time with one's I'm not interested in, as I know the taste of the reviewers. This became overly complex, apologies... Make spoiler reviews please, we will interact.

They have cast many MCU actors, including recently. They should have re-cast T'Challa so another black male good have a go.
Also, the first BP was not that great. Very overrated. Had some great aspects, but the random sidequest to South Korea (because MCU does well there box office wise) and the final act were all awful.
