this is so chaotic!! i don’t remember chelsea being this annoying. one of the biggest reasons why i avoided re-watching this movie. i’m glad mattel learned their lesson and made chelsea less annoying in mermaid power. i’ve had enough of her with all these movies esp the lost birthday. but i’m happy this movie is quite wholesome as a vacation movie. thanks for this edit i finally reminded myself to remember the movie again 🤣

Friends and I watched this one for the first time a couple months ago, definitely has the vibes of a suspense horror, like everyone's constantly gaslighting Chelsea and the Inn feels so incredibly sinister with the way they say everything, and then all the suspense just goes nowhere. Absolute weirdest vibes of any Barbie movie to that point.

I actually like this movie's message. I used to watch it alot before i was anti-christmas and I used to have this huge expectation on what my Christmas looked like based off those Christmas movies and on the actually day it wouldn't be as perfect as I expected. Now I don't like Christmas but the pressure of making sure everything goes the way you want it especially when others expect it too is still relevant. I liked Skippers arc, thinking she needs to prove herself to Barbie when Barbie herself needs help from others.
I really hope there's no upcoming barbie Christmas movie.

This is one of the most underrated Barbie movies, love the ones where Barbie, Skipper, Stacie and Chelsea have adventures together as I am close with my sister. The episodes in Dreamhouse Adventures where the sisters are the main focus are also my favourite!
