Robert Esqsquire I am not sure Robert. This video is to fix the problem noted. Perhaps search Google as you know what the problem is and hopefully you can find a helpful video or guide. Apologies for the delay in replying I did not realise a comment had been left
Biasi Riva Advance HE 32SM/C works now after a new pump! Thanks, no more kettle and bucket! Water showed lots of rusty corrosion in old pump, how do I add inhibitor to this Biasi?
Glad to hear it has helped you fix the problem. I think some people add the inhibitor into the bleed valves of one of the heaters, obviously make sure it is not pressurised before you do this
Hi, if you mean do you need to shut off the water supply to your property first before you start this the answer is no as the heating system is a closed circuit unless of course you open the valve to increases the pressure like I did at the end of this video.
I have a Biasi Riva M296 28SM/C which looks quite similar, same error code so maybe a poor pump but it is still vibrating so working I would have thought, was yours doing that or was it just dead as in no vibration?
Hi Bryan, personally I would take the central screw out and then turn the pump manually to ensure it turns freely. Sounds strange you're getting the same error code if this is turning ok. Perhaps try that and reply back, hopefully we can work out the problem for you.
@@Mass_Debates Since Bryan never got back to you, I can report that I just followed that advice, refitted the pump and now I can at least get a nice warm shower before my job interview tomorrow. Thanks!
@@kwadracik Hi and thank you for your reply. I am so pleased this has helped you and is the reason I decided to do this video. Hopefully others will benefit too. Waifu, sorry I missed your reply. Did you manage to solve the problem?
Youcef Merzouk Hi Youcef, this could be many problems including the fuse in the wall plug. Have you checked the wall fuse and ensured and trip fuses in the main fuse board have not been tripped? That's where I would start
Youcef Merzouk very hard to judge when no power, other than as above. Check nothing has tripped in the fuse box too firstly. I would recommend getting an electrician in personally or a Plumber just in case
Good video, remember folks you must be Gas Safe Registered to remove the cover on any boiler, otherwise your warranty is void and your breaking the law.
Thanks glad you like the video. Apparently the following applies. It not illegal to do DIY work on a gas boiler. It is illegal to take payment for work on gas if you are not gas safe registered. You can work on a gas system if you do not take payment but you must be a “competent person”. ... The gas installation and use regulations define competent.
@@Mass_Debates Competant to work on Gas Is Gas Safe registered, qualified and insured. This advice to homeowners I feel is very poor & sends out the wrong message.
@@paulbird5851 To be honest I would never work on the gas aspect myself and hope any who undertake diy on boilers do the same. The fact this is regarding a water pump exchange and is very simple is why I decided to do a video. Hopefully those attempting it are capable and wary of any aspect regarding the gas but can save some money using this guide :)
@@Mass_Debates I understand your point & I'm sure it's a handy video for Gas Engineers too, I don't disagree with the video by the way just thought also it was worth reminding people that even if you don't touch the gas you should be registered to even remove the cover & the warranty would be void should you accidentally wet the board or anything.
IT JUST KICKSTARTED MY HEATING . BOILER IS WORKING PERFEVRLY FINE. THANKS mate. I really appreciate to share ur experience with such easy steps. BRAVO

problem this boiler is in standby mode LED flashing will not fire up pump working have changed pcb boards both of them any ideas
Hi, how did you test the pump? Were the PCB boards new or used?
Hi do you have to stop to close the main water tap or not before doing this or just drain the boiler ?

In fact manufacturers would immediately invalidate the warranty if you tried any kind of DIY repair inside the boiler itself.
what was the aim of the video? nothing valuable was shown. dislike.
I think the hundreds of people who liked it may disagree with you 😂
