My brother living in Hawthorn is very good friends with Shaun and has coffee with him every morning at the local shops. My brother is on a disability pension and I pay for him to take Shaun out to lunch at their local pub every fortnight. Great interview, thank you!
Can't wait for the next actor to answer the question about video poker!..... Always enjoyed Sean's performances in Prisoner and in Sons and Daughters. To answer his question, Penny Ramsey was indeed in Prisoner in the early days as Jim Fletcher's (Gerard McGuire) wife, Leila! Matt - some great questions here asking how Sean has seen the industry change over the years, which prompted some interesting answers. I really like these questions, especially for our more senior actors who have seen so many changes since they first got in front of a camera or trod the boards.
@@TalkingPrisoner LOL... I'm wondering, if Groundhog Day is your favourite movie, and you first watched it in the cinema, does that mean you've watched it every day for the past 31 years? 😅
Great video, i enjoyed it. I recognised him straight away, he still looks well. He played Dan the man very well!!. I enjoy this channel, keep them coming. Thanks for another great video 😀😀👍. All the best to all !!
@@spikeyroberto why specifically. Everyone seems to have had good things to say about Maggie. And they never had many scenes together. I'm guessing it was a producer/director.
Nice to hear from Sean and have another Prisoner cast interview. Sean looks well and has a cracking sense of humour. I guess this is one of the shorter 'Talking Prisoner' interviews and with the passing of times memories aren't as strong but, nice to hear a few snippets about his time on the show and memories of Gerda and Glenda. Just wondering now who Sean disliked, he seems an easy going kind of guy who'd gel with most.
For anyone that’s interested I found ‘a cities child’ on Prime Video Australian subscription TV.. Along with a lot of other Australian movies from the 70s and 80s the good old days dare I say!!
Hi.. Not yet, I’ve saved it to my watch list.. I like recognising where they film. I’m currently watching Mel Gibson’s first ever movie on prime video. That’s how I found Sean’s movie.. The movie is called summer city and has some other later mad Max cast on it and of course John Jarratt!..
Had no idea Sean was a child actor, and in Disney films no less. I will endeavour to check them out. Too bad he didn't have very much to say about Prisoner, but I suppose his acting career is lengthy. The story line with Dan cheating on Ann Reynolds came quite out of left-field and it felt like one of those times where the story used to write the actor out stretched credibility. I think Sean looks better now than he did in Prisoner! Thanks Matt.
I'm pretty sure a huge number of Prisoner fans don't know about this channel, which is regrettable. The problem is - how to inform them about it. When you see the number of people who've watched the full 692 episode playlist on RUclips, which is around 15 million people, you can see just how many fans of the show there are out there.
Keep em coming. Keep em coming. Keep em coming. Keep em fecking coming 😰
Thoughts on this one ?

Great interview, thank you!
I have had a few coffee's with Sean. That is really nice of you to do that.
"Hey babe wake up, Talking Prisoner just dropped a new interview.." and it was brilliant!
Fantastic to see a new video on the channel again. Thanks Matt and Sean.

Fantastic. As a UK guy I only know him from prisoner but I recall he was great addition to the cast. Groundhog day great choice.. very rewatchable 😊
Thanks Simon - How many times have you watched Groundhog day ?
@@TalkingPrisoner I have it on 4k ultra Blu-ray but I never counted but few times a year 😔

Great interview as usual ❤ love Sean in loads of classic aussie movies and tv nice to learn a bit more about him 👌🏻👌🏻
Thank you Sir.
Nooooooooo, now I want to know who he didn't like! Great interview, he is still very attractive. Thanks, Matt.
Same
Maggie K maybe

@@kevinm6407it was just a suggestion because she isn't mentioned at all in the video
@@spikeyroberto it's only really ann, ettie, Rita that are mentioned from a prisoner perspective so it's a big jump.
Another great interview. Sean is a legend and what a brilliant sense of humour 😂

I guess we all forget that the show is now over 45 years old. I am trying to remember what i did yesterday haha
He looks really well; instantly recognisable all these years later.
Sean Was Also In The Film Sunday Too Far Away 1975 With Jack Thompson!🐑🐏🏚🇦🇺
I have not seen that movie. What was it like ?

I think the same thing everyday haha
I'm guessing that he was trying to think of a Norton 750 motorbike.
Imagine if the one person he didn't like is at the event on Sunday, and he's sitting next to them! *awkward*
Can someone remind who he was in Prisoner? Ive seen the whole series Im just trying to recall. What episodes or year to give me an idea.
Dan the man who dated Ann Reynolds - he was a biker minister who knew Rita and the conquerors
@@spikeyroberto Ah yess! Thank you, I couldnt place him but knew the face. Great interview, thanks.
Dan the Man - Do you remember ?
