There's something quite extraordianry about the Takingprisoner interviews and that is I'm drawn to them by my fascination for the parts they played in the Prisoner series but I find listening to their discussions about the early career work and their general backgrounds and histories are just as capitvating and interesting as the work they did in PCBH. I think it's great that they give so much of themselves and quite often speak quie candidly about themselves. If there was ever a case of an entitiy truly understanding its fanbase - this is it! Adn a big shout out to Matt and Ken for their work and time bringing this to us.
Fabulous interview, I still recall the 1st viewing late to early 90s here in Scotland on the body in the boiler room reveal. Still gives me shivers aged 44 now😊. I also as said many times David deserved more episodes , but nonetheless a classic character. Well done team Talking Prisoner and David Waters Happy New Year all 🏴🍻🍻🍻🤞
Great interview as always Matt and thank you for asking my question (Max Dweeb). David’s a legend and once again, another fascinating insight into our beloved show. Thank you 🤩
I enjoyed the interview with David. I liked the Mr Bridges character. I've watched a few of these interviews, it's great. I'm a big fan of prisoner, since 80s. Be good to see Ken, your Co host again. Brilliant channel, look forward to more 😀👍. I've got the full boxset all 692 episodes. I've watched them all about 5 or 6 times now. My favourite all time show the original prisoner cell block h. I even flew from Scotland to visit the studio at nunawading. Melbourne. I had to go on neighbours tour ,so I could see the prisoner block studio. I took loads of pictures of it. Went on tour twice and spent the 2nd tour all at the block h !!. 👍😀
Welcome back, Matt. I've missed these interviews.....Great interview as usual....hoping to meet David next September at UK event....can't wait for more ....keep up the great work.
@@TalkingPrisoner I don't honestly think I have one favourite, I there are so many to choose from, Lois and Nell were particular highlights, but then there are people like colette, Lisa Critteden, Linda Hartley and Susan Guerin, who I never thought I'd hear interviews from, and Coral is always a delight, I don't always agree with her, but I think she's wonderful. Again Matt and the talking prisoner team many thanks and I can't wait to see who is next up
Only 14 minutes in so far, yet what a great interview! Matt, it's great you allow your guests the time to speak, even though I'm sure you have loads of questions you want to ask! David, what a great storyteller you are. What a really interesting career you've had - from crossing paths with Cilla and The Stones - and then later, just crossing Joan Ferguson!!
Awesome.. as a British guy i only know him in prisoner but as stated what an impact he had on prisoner. Brilliantly acted. Great interview as always. 😊
It was great hearing from David. Matt I hear what you say about people think the kangaroos are on your doorstep, I stay in South Africa and people used to think the lions walk in our streets and are on our doorsteps. So funny. 😂
I don't mind waiting for a meal if a restarant is busy - I expect to wait. But it infuriates me when I go into a restaraunt that is empty and I have to wait ages for my food just because they are preoccupied with orders for delivery. If I bother to get off my backside haul it into a restaraunt in the flesh I expect priority over scooter orders.
Could've listened to him for hours❤

would you please be able to interview margaret laurence who played Marilyn Mason in episodes 1-16?
Margaret has been at the top of my list since day 1 but I’ve had no luck in finding her 😢

@@TalkingPrisoner Would I be right in assuming that Fiona Spence doesn't want to be interviewed?
Say Hi to Ken. I know he is chilling behind that red curtain with a beer and a couple girls.
HAHA
A plaster of paris head? No way would I let anyone put me through that !
Would have freaked me out also haha
Betty Bobbit mentioned this in her book.
