I have 2 (12) inch VM Audio subs and a 2000w Brutus Hiefronics amp and a bass capacitor. Everything was working fine the night before I went to go start my car in the morning and the subs weren’t working. I’ve checked the fuse up front and that looks fine and then I’ve checked the ground and that looks fine and all the wires are plugged in tightly. The amp turns on and the capacitor says it’s reading 14 volts but for some reason I’m getting no sound out of the subs I have also checked the head unit and everything is fine on that end and bought new rca cables and nothing has worked any help would be great!
Pretty much same problem I have. I turned my gain all the way up and I pick up the engine idle in my subs but no actual audio from the music. If you find a solution let me know plz
Should I get sound from each rca input? Like the white one being my left side and the red one being my right side? Only one of my rca inputs put off any sound.
My issue is that, after . a year, my system was working fine, but then one day the sound just shut off, but then on an occasion the sound comes back shortly then sound stops go away again.
Same for me every once in awhile subs will play but more often then not they won't I changed the RCA then deck then subs and amp and still have the same problem
I had this issue a while back. It wound up being the in line fuse at the battery. It didn't look blown or bad at all. However, replacing it got rid of this issue.
Yeah my stock car speakers work and my sub connected to my amp works but my two smaller speakers hooked to the amp are not working did you find a fix on your issue?
This helped so much this is why my rca inputs weren’t working thank you
Pp
What if I turn my radio on it plays for a second and then I hear a pop like someone is plugging an aux in and the audio cuts out.
I changed my system to other car n do a same thing that I hook up on my car to other n everything look good n the emp is on but no sound from the subs

Did u ever figure it out yet?
I have a problem with my amp. Its 4 channels but channel 1 and 3 have no ouput
switch the rca's to channel 2 and 4 and see if the problem moves there, if yes you have a bad set of rca cables.

My subs work but my indoor speakers no longer work
Ik it's been a year since you posted this but, have you figured out how to fix it???
Michael Trotter yes it was a pinched wire
@@MrDakota776 You happen to remember what wire it was or any additional information?
Michael Trotter it was in my door panel it was the purple one I believe the custom shop did some test with each wire to see if there was a dead end
Michael Trotter also side note I drive a Ford Taurus an the radio is in the truck an it was the wires going back there
RCA inputs are good, reading 13 volts on meter for power to the amp, but no power for speaker outputs. Help?
