Sometimes you just need a whiskey at sunset! 🤫🥃 I just got this new 000-17 "Whiskey Sunset" acoustic from @martinguitar and I just can't put her down...this guitar just wants to kick back, sip whiskey, & play that mellow back porch country blues ...we have a lot in common!

Agreed. This amazing piece of music has to be shared. If this helps, I’ve slowed the video down (top right icon) and you will get it, with time. Tricky bit is to get the timing with I IV V changes
It’s a cheeky ask, but Justin is making some some tabs available. If you make tabs for this, Justin, you’d make so many of us less-skilled mortals happy. 🤓 Agreed, totally happy to buy them. Beautiful music man. Even with tabs, it’s never gonna sound anything like this 😬🤣🪕

A Martin is the next acoustic guitar I’m buying.
It ain’t the guitar! I see skinny frets which is what I’ve been blaming as the problem with my present guitar. I spent a lot of time with a Taylor 324 which has wonderful thick frets that I thought that was the answer. Now that I’ve seen Justin’s playing I understand it has very little to do with the guitar.
@@DavidHaile_profile I know it’s not the guitar that’s why I didn’t jump on a Martin right off the bat...I just started playing a few months back so I bought a Fender acoustic and it works for me for now...One day I will own a Martin but I’d like to know how to play the guitar before I make a purchase like that.

This style connects direct to my soul. I wonder if it is possible to get Justin to come to Wyoming. I guess I could fly out to Asheville to see him. The thing that jumps out is that I can play well enough myself to know what he’s doing. I can feel the fingering and where he’s going next. Maybe with a few more years of practice and listening... I’m 61. I hope I have enough time left!

I love your Martin. I love mine! It took me a little to discover what it could do but playing like this is a beautiful experience that I've cried a few times while playing And at the end Up Thanking The guitar Is that weird has anyone else on that? It's partly because learning to play something new and getting better is a great feeling but also just hearing the sound that can come out of the guitar by not even doing much sometimes but it's just so Musical. That's why It's so important to have a good guitar. I remember when I upgraded I was like what the F was I playing before. .
Oh wow dude. I sit here at work in the sunshine here in North Carolina and the mellow tune along with the warmth of the sun just relaxed me heart body and soul talk about some Zen crap anyone into relaxing with yoga could never come close to how relaxing this was today for me.
