The fact that all of this trash was on one single pay per view is absolutely mind-blowing .
I low-key think Simon loves the Judy Bagwell on the Forklift match
😂
Actually wcw were having problems before VR showed up. VR just made things worse in WCW.
Agreed. One such problem was the AOL-Time Warner merger that was finalized around this time. How this affected WCW was that some of the executives (particularly the ones with the most power) behind the merger felt as though WCW & wrestling in general was too "low brow" for their company & wanted to get rid of it even though it was drawing decent ratings. As a result, it forced WCW to do whatever it took to not get booted off the air & keep the ratings decent.
If watching wrestling has taught me one thing, it's that nothing good ever happens when a wild slapnuts appears.
Nah brother, thats the best part 😂
Simon saying WCW like Scott Hall 🤣
WCW gone but never forgotten 😎
Rip Scott Hall 🙏
Simon 👍
Keiji Muto (as himself and as The Great Muta) wrestled for nearly twenty-four years afterwards, Simon...
I was thinking the same thing...was he confusing Muta with some other wrestler??
Bookings from the same Vince Russo that everyone keeps defending because Vince McMahon once said he needs to hire a nanny. That's nothing compared to the disgusting storylines/segments he had a hand in. Whether it was WWE, WCW or TNA (yes, he worked for TNA as well). Dude is just a clown 🤡🙄
One of my favorite dumb angles of WCW is when Goldberg gets arrested by the cops and they're just standing out there arguing that he didn't do anything but they still got to take him in
And then they take them to the police station but he gets back to the arena so fast. That means the police station is right next to the arena 😂
Actually, you're pretty close. That arena in Atlanta was across the street from the police station.
Yes it was directly across the street. Lol. And for some reason they needed to escort him back.
@@kith1235 that makes it so much more hilarious. Because Goldberg's whole thing was if I go I'm going to miss them an event. 😂 He's stalling the time 😆 He just had to go and then he would be out before the main event
That's WCW right there
@@ernestcruz6316 that just makes sense so much better because Goldberg was worried about missing the main event but he was the one stalling more than them taking him in 😂
Booker didn't jump over, he went with the buy out
8:28 the point is so they cant get away when you got one guy who just keeps running away you put a strap on him so he cant leave
I was there live for New Blood Rising. I had stopped watching all the time as a kid and was really upset and confused I didn’t get to see Goldberg proper. Thankfully WWE Raw cane to Vancouver in 2003 and I got to see him live again.
I've heard about all these things individually from What Culture over the years, but this is the first time I ever heard they were all on the same PPV.
Is this a re upload. I could swear I watched this a couple weeks ago
This is basically a pseudo retro ups and downs😂
It says this came out 2 hours ago but I saw it last week. Is this a reupload?
This is like those retro ups and downs that we subjected simon to like new blood rising and december to dismember
I just remember getting migraines watching this era of WCW. Now I have another watching this 😂
bring back retro ups and down please--thank you
Baha, let's not forget the commentary team thanking Scott Steiner for being professional and taking the powerbomb since Goldberg wouldn't, even though the script said he was supposed to.
I Just Thought Of Something Can You Imagine WWE Bringing This PPV Back It Would Be Called NXT: New Blood Rising.
Possession is 9/10th. of the law is a common misconception. How many people are or were in prison for Possession of stolen property?
Kevin Nash ALWAYS took wrestling and kayfabe THAT seriously in WCW AND TNA; i.e., not at all... 🤣🤣
Kidman was only dating Torrie during this time. He didn't marry Torrie in real life until 3 years after that
I have been rewatching WCW from its Golden Days all the way till the 2000s what the f*** moments
And I've got attached to the stars of WCW but my God the booking was crap and funny I laughed so many times
all of this dialogue about "scripts", "doing business" and "going over", was really just Vince Russo showing his contempt for wrestling and trying his hardest to expose it and make fun of it, because he thought he could make it better by shitting all over traditions. You can claim he had good ideas at some point but this is the reason why we hate him.
Re-upload?
Lance Storm was SUPER over during WCW’s Canada tour. So of course they had him lose and look like an idiot the whole time.
🤦♂️
Is this a reupload? Because I’m remembering seeing that already.
Why was this taken down and re-uploaded? The original seemed fine
For someone who's goofy wrestling for life, how could you possibly hate this? It's all goofy.
Re upload??
To everyone asking, this isn’t a re-upload, Wrestling With Wregret did it a week or two ago. Wrestling channels are like soap operas nowadays, just copy each other’s stuff.
This is a re-upload right? Or am I just losing it?
Its pronounced Wuba Cee Wuba, and then the goofy laugh
I love wcw booking it was so funny 😂😂😂
Thank God Simon Miller doesn't have hair or else he would have pulled it all out watching this pay-per-view.
Yo looks like Johnny sins 😂
😁⏫
WCW freaking rockz!
Wcpw worst booking ?
Simone. Bro. You shouldn’t shave under your chin like that. Gotta leave the hair there. Only shave the neck. It looks really the way you have it.
💜
Wow AEW looked really different back then...
why do u fake laugh so much?
It’s his thing.
