This race was 🔥! They had been running relays 2gether all yr so their handoffs was silky smooth. For me this is the best relay ever run because of the fluidity of each baton pass. No1 took off 2 early, no1 looking back n no bobbled passes. The record was just icing on the cake. Great job ladies.

Exactly! I wish/hope the USA coach has started the team to represent the upcoming relay teams do the same in selecting those most effective now so that by the time the race comes there is a comfortability in their hand offs.
There is nothing worse than inserting someone without preparation it never goes well when they do that

Folks like Allyson Felix and Aleia Hobbs have a very interesting trait in having one of the highest top speeds in the field, but not looking like they’re running fast. Hobbs may just be a factor this year, believe it or not. Her top speed is her actual trademark, and now she has a start, she may be a surprise factor in 2024.
I am Jamaican, but I always admire and enjoy seeing Allyson run. It looks magical the way she lifts her body, swinging her arms like a super model 😊

I watched that race live, and the last leg, Jeter was on another level. She took the baton and I could swear you saw lightning coming off of her feet that leg of the race. Amazing. Glad I watched it live. To be there in person must have been mind blowing.

I love the interesting way Allyson receives and hands off the baton…it’s not the way I do it, but it assures it isn’t dropped.
This method is used quite often now.

That's perfection in the baton passes. You're not going to see it any better than that. Close second was the 2022 World Champs in Eugene where the almost perfect passes of the USA women helped them nose-out the powerful Jamaican women's team. (Props to both teams!)

5 Different Records were broken in this one race. US beat the World, the US and Olympic record, Jamacia came in second and broke the Jamaican record, Ukraine came in third and broke the Ukrainian record. All three teams ran the fastest 4x100 that's every been run by anyone in their country. That was a fast race!
