Wish i had the money for a Bari Sax. I will say this you could push the mouthpiece in a little bit because it does sound a little flat. Other than that, nice playing!
Keep practicing bud. Practice makes perfect. You might want to get a classical mouthpiece if it’s for school(Selmer S90 170 tip opening). What you’re playing is a jazz mouthpiece. Yes there is a difference but good job keep going!
The standard 5c mouthpiece that comes with the instrument plays well, no need to think that changing mouthpieces is going to make you a better player, it is all in the mind. The 5c plays mellow or grunts dependent on how it is played.

@@soap4797 Not really, im around the same height and it's no problem for me, it's definitely big but if u play tenor already you should be fine
@@jazyladd6410 okay :) I was playing a tuba thing before tenor so it should be okay. Hopeful to try over the summer!
@@soap4797 Nice! Hope it goes well :)
Lyre screw and neck screw
can you try to do a video and circular breathe a song?
I would definitely have to take some time to learn circular breathing, but if I come around to it, I will 100% make a video on it
@@jazyladd6410 can u show us how long u can hold a note now and then we can see the difference once u learn circular breathing?

Gerson Ruiz Selmer S90 is an amazing mouthpiece but a bit pricy for some people. Another amazing option that is about half the price is the Russo nc4
