I somehow completed some Indian degrees. I don't understand if UoP will help me or not? Why don't you make more videos. You're so inspirational.
I knew of it from one year ago or so, but it seemed to me too good to be true. I have a full-time job and I cannot afford to go to college, but I am not struggling financially. I had been looking for computer science programs and I liked actually none until I saw UoP, and it was exactly the program I was looking for. But I thought it could be a scam since it looked too good to be true. Finally, I have enrolled, after watching this video!!! I haven't started yet, but I am really looking forward to. If it is as good as I am imagining, my idea is to donate a scholarship for someone who cannot even afford to pay the application fees and the course examination fees. That would be the least I can do.
ANA BELEN SANCHEZ PRIETO I'm in the same boat as you. Thank you so much for your comment. Yes, it is really hard to work a lot and be in school, but without the financial burden, it feels a lot better emotionally. Now the only thing holding us back is ourselves. Thanks, K. I really like learning, I simply cannot stop, and I like challenges as well. I live in Europe, but I hope to meet you in the forums at UoP, as we are now in the same program. Best luck.
Hi, Yesabeth. I am already in my second week, and everything is going great. As I am not a native English speaker and I could not produce any English certification they enrolled me in English Composition 1. That is a prerequisite for all those who are in my case. In spite of being online education is very personalized. After formalizing the enrollment but before starting the term my Program Advisor contacted me, and we had to make minor adjustments, and after that, he has been contacting me now and then to make sure that everything is going alright. In English Composition 1 I am in a group of 27 persons. The contents are in the LMS platform (which is MOODLE), and we have to do some graded activities for each learning unit, most of them, but not all, of social character. But our instructor is there all the time giving feedback. I couldn't be more satisfied, although, of course, two weeks are too short a term to judge. The only thing that strikes me so far is the fact the at although the group has 27 people, only 9 seem to be active. Whether the other 18 are not showing up in the forums (which are graded) but are doing the other activities, I do not know. My guess is that many were overoptimistic when they enrolled, and then the day to day life was simply too overwhelming. In summary, I strongly encourage you to enroll. Start just with one subject and reserve some 8 hours a week for it. If you see you are doing well you can consider taking two subjects instead in the following term. Each term is 9 weeks, the last one for the exams, and between terms there is a week free.
Imm glad you have started your program and are enjoying it. I just might start before the end of the year. Thanks so much for replying, and best of luck on reaching your goals in higher education!

After a while, you may even feel like you are worth much more than you realize, because you are! Stay strong and I know you will do great! I think right now my best tip would be to read everything very carefully when you start your classes.
