When I see Hussain and Atherton written in the title, I just click without even blinking. Cuz i know it would be a treasure chest of cricketing wisdom.
The situation with Ollie, reflects what has become a club to beat people for things said many years ago, maybe in a moment of incapacity, that will now be held against you. The one thing to think about, is, that, there will always be, people out there who are maybe jealous of your position in life, and seek to bring you down. I am British living in the US. The amount of abuse that prominent people, and every day people, over here suffer, whether they deserve it or not, is horrendous. If I, as an individual, am to be held accountable for something i did or said 10 or 15 years ago, when the situation was completely different, where does it stop? Are there people, of colour, who may have said things about whites, going to be held accountable? Are there women out there, who have said horrible things against men, going to be held accountable? Where does it end. it seems that the whole human situation needs a hard reset. Unfortunately there are too many people in this world with an agenda, for this to end sooner than later.
I think it’s unfair that Sky and the ECB have thrown ollie Robinson under the bus if anything I think this is extremely backwards in progression that we’re discussing some skeletons in the closet of a young English bowler who wrote these tweets when he was a 18-19 year old kid. This is just bloody ridiculous
It is not them it is people who can make a buck out of rummaging through peoples' background. i would say that the ECB is showeing as much support as iot can in its position.
I saw a discussion on Indian TV recently talking about English cricket. As a man of no-colour I was shocked that there were no other people-of-no-colour involved in the discussion. This is egregious.
They have no choice really...six batting places at any one time - one or two veterans who aren’t going anywhere and two or three diversity picks. Not arguing it’s right or wrong but that’s the reality.

Robinson should be given a chance as this happened a very long time ago. However why wasn’t anything done about it back then, why only make a fuss as soon he has opportunity to play for England. It’s stupid.

The talent drain from South Africa is not only hurting them in Cricket, but also in many other disciplines.
