You have to have the spark plug grounded to check for spark like that, on the engine case, frame or some other metal part. Came to the right diagnose at the end but you would not have seen a spark even if the coil was unplugged the way you were testing it.
You are totally right! Your boy gets a little carried away when he's filming 😁 It should have been laying on the pipe, like normal. I appreciate you contributing so other people will be able to read the proper way to do it 🙌

32:08 after some minor tuning/ trouble shooting. It is very responsive and linear. As well as very smooth. Now i wanna see the suspension set to his liking, and weight.
You sir, are correct! It wouldn't be right otherwise! I'll do the same loop. No suspension changes, etc. Exactly the same just with carb. Getting some amazing email feedback from my SSR customers who've ordered the new Lectron form mXrevival. That's the best.
When I was still riding I would've loved to try a Lectron but man! I never could afford one... and 4 for my GS1000? No way! I admit I'm an old guy with no experience with the modern 4 strokes, I'm wondering why you didn't fatten up the low end to eliminate the bog and set there idle lower, it seems pretty fast (high) to me?
They do cost a pretty penny, but they do actually work. So, a very nice product overall for the money. I do actually re-jet the bike and it's stock carburetor in video number one. It helped. But at the end of the day it's the improper application for this engine and just wasn't quite the right pairing in order to get more out of the engine, the power that's stuck in there with the stock 2020 carburetor on it. The 2021 drop kicks this old carburetor completely for a fcr clone, or pumper type.
I’d be interested in knowing if a larger tank would fit. I think IMS and maybe Acerbis make them for the crf250r, which is what these are based on frame wise apparently. Because I’d like to get a headlight and tail light on mine so I can connect trails without any trouble
YES you can slap a 2013-2016 CRF450R plastic kit DIRECTLY onto this machine! The stock SSR Radiator shrouds are a different shape but you can get rid of them (I like them though, helps differentiate somewhat) - we're almost ready with a specific graphics kit just for the 300 too - because of the shrouds... Let me know if you need a hand. I'd be happy to help - In fact, check out our plastic catalog if you'd like! *_www.rtechmx.com/media/pdf/Cat_Rtech_2020.pdf_* Page 20 has all the complete kits & all of the single bits for Honda are in the very beginning of the catalog. The suspension actually isn't horrible but it is a little heavy. I picked up some showa's off a 2014 honda they were a direct bolt on and a pretty big improvement
Sick video! You do awesome work brother. Ok ok I’m listening.. I need to buy a Lectron for my KX500 supermoto. I’ve been STRUGGLING with the jetting the stock carb and fouling out plugs...
Oh dude, let's get that taken care of! No need to struggle! Is your KX pretty healthy otherwise? Good compression, no frayed reeds, no air leaks, etc? Sometimes I will have customers try to order Lectrons to "fix" a bike that's running a little funny, but they sometimes have some work components causing the run-ability issues. So I always like to ask in case the bike COULD be ripping for a $60 set of reeds instead, you know? THANK YOU for the killer compliment -Charles // mXrevival
mXrevival The engine is a fresh rebuild, I sent crank to be rebuilt by Tom Morgan Racing with a Wössner rod. I installed new crank bearings and seals. I have fresh stock cylinder hone with Flex-Hone and a fresh Wiseco piston. I have a brand new Boyesen RAD valve with Pro carbon fiber reeds. I run a FMF expansion chamber and an NGK BR8EG plug. She runs amazing, just want the hassle of no jetting if I travel also is running a bit rich and fouling plugs I think because I’m not opening her up “on the pipe” as much as I should because I’d be running way to fast around town if I did and I’d be arrested 😅. So I have to “lug” the engine a bit and it loads up with oil. My stock Keihin PWK carb has a 168 main jet and 58 pilot jet, 3rd (middle) needle position. I’m at basically sea level. Thanks for the response and willingness to help!
@@bumpstartnether Oh yeah man she's fresh! It sounds like you might just be right around the corner from some really good settings with the carburetor you have. I know it can be kind of brutal swapping brass and trying to get just the right jetting combination only to have it run less satisfactory if you end up in the mountains or something at elevation. Cool thing is she sounds amazing, and is running, so you can tweak a little more and the absolute worst case scenario is that we'll always have a Lectron on deck down the road if needed! I'd say that's a pretty good situation to be in! Lucky guys with first world problems. And you're welcome, life is short. Have to help people when we can. -Charles // mXrevival

In the "first ride" video, I re-jet it trail side. Larger pilot & main. ( Video has chapters: ruclips.net/video/iPj0TzFlEcY/видео.html ) It liked it, and ran better but needed a little fine tuning. It'll come down to personal preference in the end. Some people will love the stock power delivery. Some people will want more. Some people will want the most out of it with the least amount of effort in any situation. Wow it does look very similar in design. Not spitting image clones or interchangeable. I believe the Zongshen is much less compact overall esp. the bottom end/ gearbox area.
@@mistermaster1945 I was assuming it was a clone wonder why they chose the rfs? There is difference’s of course. Water pump and oil filters are in a different spot, assuming this is a single oil filter instead the rfs is dual oil filter.
@@mxrevival Exactly i just can’t figure out why they chose the rfs unlike the crf its modelled on, maybe production cost or they needed a older 4 stroke engine with good performance to clone of that they wouldn’t get a lawsuit for?
@@Jack-vh2kn I'm not convinced that they cloned the RFS in particular & perhaps a coincidence that they are similar looking. They're called Zongshen NC300 (NC250 & NC450 variants). Hello, my question is, have you tried on your bike the FCR33 MX carb?. I did and it's really powerfull but, i don't figure this out yet, how do I connect the TPS on the CDI? Is there some how?? Please advice. Thanks.
Hi Omar, Unfortunately there's no place to plug in any TPS or electrical as the bike's ECU doesn't support it. Even the 2021 with an FCR style carb does not have electronics. You can simply cover up and disregard the TPS connector on your carb swap. Hope that helps! -Charles // mXrevival
Did this bike really not do "forced" wheelies when stock, or was that just an exaggeration to accentuate the power increase u felt from the carb swap? Its rated a 30hp bike, even if thats at the crank not the back wheel(which I suspect is the case). Thats on par with a honda crf250x. My crf 230 i had was not even 20hp at the crank and it would easily pull the front end up with a lil lean back or clutch slip in 1st, in 2nd it would easily pull up still with a lil yank on the bars.
I believe the gearing is very tall in addition to the big bad BOG off the bottom with the stock carb. 2021 will have a pumper carb stock so that'll change. Also, the 230 has a shorter wheelbase, which would more easily allow the front to be brought up. There's a combination of things going on, really. But- I'll always be transparent with you guys. We all stand to gain from truthful chats and reviews together 🤜🤛 So it was a good question. What's misleading are the comments containing opinions regarded as facts (from non-owners always). Good afternoon. I just purchased the 2021 SSR300 TODAY. Instantly after riding it I was glad I bought it. Great price for the quality of build. However I did pay 4699 which was 200 dollars over MSRP. The dealer said that was the market right now because no one could keep them in stock and they sell as soon as they get them in and they only sent them one this time. I watched your video with the R&D team at the dirt track. I want to purchase the Electron Carb from you and need to know if it would work for the 2021 model. I'm aware they changed the carb and airbox this year. I did notice a slight bog when I blimp the throttle at a lower idle setting. It doesn't do this when I raise the idle a few hundred rpms. Van you offer any advice? Thanks
@@MrBarberselect NICE!! Congratulations on the new bike! You're right, you can't beat a brand new bike for that price- that's a VERY good deal! Yes, absolutely, our Lectron Carb Mod will work on the 2021 no problem BUT now that the intake & air boot inlet & outlet sizes have changed for 2021- we need to use the bigger, more expensive Lectron that is for four strokes. We have been using the two stroke style Lectron on the 2020 because it's fitment & cost effectiveness for due to the bike's original price point. That style Lectron is called the Gen II Kit: www.mxrevival.com/product-page/lectron-carburetors-two-four-strokes I may be able to request a 2020 SR300 air boot & intake for you while they are still around but I don't know if they will keep making them! Then you can run our regular 2020 style Lectron on the 2021 💪 You can also swap some jets in your stock 2021 carb to get it dialed in as well. There are several jets in that type of carburetor, and the bog can come from jet sizes or a slack in the linkage that is on that style of carburetor. The "leak jet" is usually the culprit with bog off the bottom on the carburetor you have now. You'll need to take it apart & make changes, then ride-test them. You repeat this process until you are happy! It can take time but if you are patient you'll find a good setting. Only issue with a good setting is that sometimes when you ride much higher or lower elevations or there are big temperature differences, the carb can run "off" again when you are not riding in the same areas you first found your good settings. That's why the Lectron is so popular. We set it up for your bike when it's built for you, so it can be used right away. (99% of people do not need to adjust it & 0% of my SSR customers have made adjustments yet) Elevation and temperature changes are no problem for the Lectron either 😎 It just works! Too bad the Frame gets in the way of adjustments on an older Honda. I got a Lectron on an 05 CRF250R. Just got it to start for the first time since carb install yesterday. Out of the box adjustments weren’t close enough to get the bike to start. Turned idle up til it would fire, then turned it up some more to keep it running. Today after work I plan to try and dial it in. Just wish it was easier to reach the adjustment screws. If I can get her tuned up and running, it will be the first time in months that I’ll be able to ride my 250. Riding the KX85 was a little lame by comparison.
Hi , interesting video. So I presume this is the zongshen 250 motor with the 300 kit fitted by the factory. Ajp motorcycles and Fantic use that motor In their trail bikes which are fuel injected. Not sure if that could be fitted to yours? Or whether that is a to expensive option. The ajp uses the new GET ECU which I believe you can re map. Just a thought. It's interesting how you are getting on with the motor as I was debating buying an ajp motorcycle and fitting the 300 barrel as a lightweight adventure bike. I'm 58 now and although I have a crf450l ,husky701 and ktm250excf am looking for a cheap easy to ride low maintenance bike.

Killer vid Charles your crushing it with the 300 mods!! Damn man that Lectron really makes yours sing!! Hearing yours after you leaned it out I think I need to go lean my smart carb a little.. Did you ditch that restricted ass air filter cage backfire screen? Pumped on the Elusive graphics in the works, ready to order a set soon as available. Keep killing it bro👊 Sick Ride Moto merch btw🤘🔥
Thanks J! Man I don't know, yours was looking pretty badass in those wheelie videos! No, I didn't pull the filter cage just yet because I'm trying to do things one at a time, in order to get the best description and feel for how each individual mod wakes the bike up or not. I'm always tempted to do it all at once! But I'm going to behave on this bike... Too funny, I was sitting there revving it with the choke on wondering why it was rich! Turned the choke off and so far just perfect. We will see how the trail test goes down but it already runs so much more consistently. Thanks so much for the support brother. Just got a photo from Elusive yesterday of how he templated the radiator shrouds 😍 Appreciate ya!
Man, I haven't confirmed it myself but I bet a big CRF tank would fit this thing. I think the only potential issue there would be: The Honda that used this frame type in 2013 through 2016 was fuel injected and not carbureted, so you would need to do some fabrication (which could totally be done) in order to install a fuel petcock in the donor tank from a fuel injected bike, for the carburetor on this bike to receive fuel. Normally the fuel injected tanks have a big access door on the bottom, where the fuel pump assembly can be removed. This is a pretty common situation on guys bikes that are aluminum frame T two strokes swaps. Since the two strokes were carbureted, and the donor bike fuel injected. Guys will basically fabricate a metal plate and have the holes drilled, and tapped where applicable, in order to throw the fuel petcock in. But, this tank does also have a reserve which I have not gotten to use after a couple hours of riding period so it is pretty dang fuel efficient. With the new Lectron carburetor installed we typically see even greater fuel economy since the bike is no longer prone to running rich from bad jetting settings performed by the user. The Lectron will give the bike only what it needs, when it needs it period so much less waste. I hope that helps!
Man, I know! So get this, the entire trail parks shut down as soon as I go my shrouds back. I am going to have to travel pretty far or get creative with a riding spot. I really wanted the test to be on the exact same trails for a true comparison! Maybe they will open up soon, but it's "top two" right now on my "videos I need to make" list. Thankfully, I'm getting the coolest email from my SSR customers that are using our Lectron & racing hare scrambles with it!! Thanks for hanging in there!

I have a 2016 450s and cannot find one specifically for it. Now I heard they are very close a clone to the crf honda 450x. And there are plenty of parts for that. But would u say compatible or not even close.?
Hey miyguel, thank you for watching and you are welcome! Sorry I am just now seeing your comment. Yes, I actually ended up doing a pro circuit unit, and that video is in the SSR playlist if you have time, or if you haven't already seen it. I believe there is a pro circuit exhaust specific to your bike as well, may just for ssr. But also the 450 being a Honda clone, as you've stated, will accept Honda exhausts I am almost certain! I was even told by someone who had their sr450 engine apart that they use the same Japanese crank bearings as the Honda. So that was great news.
Looks like a must do upgrade. Wish you could have had a dyno before and after, but seat of the pance and now it does roll on power wheelies is petty good proof in the pudding. Maybe some roll racing and drags with other 250f's for comparison sake? Or its chief rival, the newly released efi klx300.
Honestly I can't wait to take this back out. The improvement just here at the shop is so great. I actually called a local shop with a dyno but they weren't interested in the MX thing. They make too much with street bikes to bother with these "one off" dyno needs... as it was described to me anyway... I think it'll take someone who loves bikes like we do that wants to be involved in the first place. That KLX is good looking. Only thing I think that knocks it out for a true comparison is that (like the Honda & Yamaha 230's) the KLX 300 is still not quite a *_full size_* machine like the SSR. It's every bit as large as my RM250 & RMZ450.
Very familiar with it & totally agree. Awesome as hell when dialed in, leak jet/ AC pump bog gone, and the linkage mod done. Shredder! The Lectron does a killer job on both 2 & 4 IMO. @@mxrevival thanks a lot sir 🙏 Yeah i do my self on porting the intake and exhaust port, just to the porting little bit, do not to much, just make the flow better that stock, and make flow more fast to go in the silinder from the intake, and for the exhaust port make sure ist really shiny when you porting it, so the rest of carbon and the heat more fast to flow to the pipe exhaust, and dont forget to take of the valve to makeit more easy to do the porting, and after that make sure the valve its not leaked compression when you put it back on the sitting vavle. - Dhay // From Indonesia 👍
Yep, you can & it's part of the reason the bike struggles. You are exactly correct regarding the low vac at idle that 4 strokes make, thus typically requiring an accelerator pump. Mainly in our newest Lectron solution, the tolerances are much tighter and combined with the CNC cut metering rod, (and no jets to draw fuel through) the vac produced is enough to wake the bike up incredibly after install. We do have another 4 stroke specific Lectron. It also eliminates Jets and accelerator pumps, but due to the price point of this bike initially- we felt that developing this option for the 300 would be in line with the original price point of the bike itself. In other words, this carb is about $475 and the four stroke specific Lectron we carry (which can be used) is closer to $800. So we felt that was the right call for the situation. Increased performance on several levels, elimination of jetting, and a great price are all combined to make the best value for all of my riders. 👊 Really good technical point, thanks for bringing it up Christopher. -Charles // mXrevival

Mate awesome. I'm watching from a small rural town in Australia. Don't take this as criticism, but to be honest a lectron carbie is more than $1000 Australian dollars. It's about one third of the bikes price. Doesn't really make sense to do it. I was thinking about getting one and do your conversions. Anyway mate keep up the good work. Love your show. Cheers
Thanks for watching! Stoked to have you. No offense taken at all. If your bike runs good, that's prefect. If it doesn't, and you have to spend some cash to fix it anyway- then this makes great sense 🔥
Does it make a difference weather you start at the throttle housing or start at the carb as far as the throttle cable goes. I hear a lot of guys say you need to start at the throttle housing.
No sir, unless there is something structural about your bike that makes it easier. But there's no harm in connecting one and or the other before or after the other 👊
Dude, that is sweet! Lectron you aren't playing. I don't like the carb mount on it. It looks like 32mm, how they get away with no accelerator pump. Small carb can't bog it out with air.
You know it! Was cool to prototype/ bring this into the SSR world for the guys in need. It works excellent. The Lectron is a 36mm - and y9ou're right, they don't get away with it 😂 Hence the swap! But the 2021 will come with a nice pumper carb from the factory. ruclips.net/video/zOUkrH4JonU/видео.html Thanks for watching! -Charles // mXrevival
Im sure lexon carb worth every penny. But what about a cheap keihin carb jetted correctly. Idk lot about 4 strokes never owned one always had 2 strokes. Iv had good luck with keihin air striker ebay carbs. Idk id there clones or not box says made in Japan look authentic probably not though lol!! Any way u know what im saying a little bigger carb without breaking the bank. Great videos always enjoy Thanks Josh G
Thanks Josh! I appreciate your viewership! This bike sort certainly came with a Keihin knock-off but an Air Stryker might be better in it than the stock unit. Hard to tell which ones are real, like you said haha!
$600 carb on a $5000 bike. That carb costs ~1/8 the cost of the whole bike. Lectron makes a good product but it’s priced to only really make sense for competitive racing.
Closer to $500 for the SSR. I understand where you're coming from as someone who may not own this motorcycle or deal with it's particular issues. I will say though, the +$600 Pro Circuit slip on pipe is not a good value not does it enhance the motorcycle past adding a spark arrestor (which can be purchased for about $70 for use with the stock can). The Lectron truly was an awesome addition to maximize this investment & I've helped a lot of people do the same. Imagine buying a bike that never runs right. Do you sell it and take a $1k hit out of frustration or spend $500 more to get a cool mod, get to work on your bike, and have it run amazing? Besides, "dirt bike math" never has made logical sense, nor do stupid dirt bikes like me understand fractions 😅
I did re-adjust one last time. It brought the bike to a very nice, crisp response. Lectron has an idle screw just like a Keihin or Mikuni, that raises the slide. Good questions.
Since the stock carb was a Keihin PWK or a similar Chinese knockoff, I would think you could have jetted it in pretty good without having to spend a bunch of money for a Lectron.
Yes one would think but I wasn't the case with this bike. It has a lot to do with the airbox flowing too much air in conjunction with the wrong carb for the job. It simply didn't run it's best with stock or revised jetting (first video in the series) -Charles // mXrevival
Maybe needs a little more fuel up top. I'm not positive, but you could check your needle clip position and lower the clip, effectively raising the needle and letting more fuel through the main jet at wide open throttle positions. I'm not sure if that bike is carbureted or efi. But if it's carbureted, you can try what I wrote above 👌 if that does not work, shoot me an email anytime and maybe we can smash one of our Lectron carbs in there. Great overrev
I have an 01 xr400 im looking to throw a little modern-day tec so it doesn't bog in 1st, get easily dirty jets, and when the bike drops it passes Gas all over. Would a lectionary be worth it? I had a guy say a piston upgrade is better but idk
Hi Saron, It would definitely be worth it but it sounds like you could also rebuild your current carburetor and be running well again! The things you described can be serviced. Of course, if you want a Lectron, I would be happy to make that happen too. -Charles // mXrevival
Love your videos. But the dumping fuel in the ground thing… just catch the fuel in a solo cup and put it back in the tank. Fuel in ground water sucks…. Keep up the awesome vids.
Ive had a problem with using lectrons on my 2 strokes. They are really nice for the bikes i use for racing that get top ends frequently anyways BUT the lectrons definitely shorten the life span of pistons. My air strykers and smart carbs are way way waaaay better than the lectrons
Some guys have reported they do run lean at certain times. They also have a reputation for being able to be “bolted on, and just ride” which some guys, who do need to tune a little bit, just run with. I’ve noticed most of the blow up some failures happen with that crowd of riders’s. It’s the negative side to a positive reputation 🙃

You need to go to that same place where you first took it out in Cali and do a compare test through the trails.

The engine is a fresh rebuild, I sent crank to be rebuilt by Tom Morgan Racing with a Wössner rod.

Hi Omar,
Unfortunately there's no place to plug in any TPS or electrical as the bike's ECU doesn't support it.
We all stand to gain from truthful chats and reviews together 🤜🤛

That style Lectron is called the Gen II Kit:
www.mxrevival.com/product-page/lectron-carburetors-two-four-strokes
I may be able to request a 2020 SR300 air boot & intake for you while they are still around but I don't know if they will keep making them! Then you can run our regular 2020 style Lectron on the 2021 💪
You can also swap some jets in your stock 2021 carb to get it dialed in as well.
(99% of people do not need to adjust it & 0% of my SSR customers have made adjustments yet)
Elevation and temperature changes are no problem for the Lectron either 😎 It just works!
I hope this helps, as it can be a bit confusing - but I'm happy to hep you anytime right here: www.mxrevival.com/contact

I miss Hollister for those quick rip trips! Great videos! “I can’t believe it works!”
Thank you V.H.!

HI Neil,
You can use *_ANY_* 2013-2016 Honda CRF450R plastics on it.
We have a graphics kit coming soon for the stock 300 shrouds too 🤘
As for the pipes, I'll have some units coming up on the website soon! With removable sparkys!

Just got a photo from Elusive yesterday of how he templated the radiator shrouds 😍
Appreciate ya!
Any idea if a bigger tank can be found for the model?
Man, I haven't confirmed it myself but I bet a big CRF tank would fit this thing.
I think the only potential issue there would be: The Honda that used this frame type in 2013 through 2016 was fuel injected and not carbureted, so you would need to do some fabrication (which could totally be done) in order to install a fuel petcock in the donor tank from a fuel injected bike, for the carburetor on this bike to receive fuel.
Normally the fuel injected tanks have a big access door on the bottom, where the fuel pump assembly can be removed.
This is a pretty common situation on guys bikes that are aluminum frame T
two strokes swaps.
Hey how can I get a lectron carb for my Chinese trailmaster tm36 300cc bike..8t takes a pwk34mm carb?????

I hope not, even the XR400 wasn’t much quicker than my old TTR225. I test drove the XR, really disappointing machine.

When are we going to see the trail test, can't wait any longer 😬
Man, I know!
So get this, the entire trail parks shut down as soon as I go my shrouds back.
I am going to have to travel pretty far or get creative with a riding spot. I really wanted the test to be on the exact same trails for a true comparison!
Maybe they will open up soon, but it's "top two" right now on my "videos I need to make" list.
Thankfully, I'm getting the coolest email from my SSR customers that are using our Lectron & racing hare scrambles with it!!

Ok 1st I wanna thank you for the time and effort u put in ur videos! They're awesome and we appreciate them! Now, my question is have u modified the exhaust on yours? Or do u plan to?
Get a modded FCR carb...Lectron is great for 2 strokes...the FCR will make you scared of the throttle response
Very familiar with it & totally agree.
Awesome as hell when dialed in, leak jet/ AC pump bog gone, and the linkage mod done. Shredder!
The Lectron does a killer job on both 2 & 4 IMO. Have been a dealer for years, and helped a lot of guys out. This was fun, uncharted territory.
I like jetting, really. But most guys... well, you know- don't.
Thanks for hangin'

I have same engine that you have, but 250 cc. Did you do the port work yourself?
-Charles // mXrevival
@@mxrevival thanks a lot sir 🙏
Yeah i do my self on porting the intake and exhaust port, just to the porting little bit, do not to much, just make the flow better that stock, and make flow more fast to go in the silinder from the intake, and for the exhaust port make sure ist really shiny when you porting it, so the rest of carbon and the heat more fast to flow to the pipe exhaust, and dont forget to take of the valve to makeit more easy to do the porting, and after that make sure the valve its not leaked compression when you put it back on the sitting vavle.

I didn't know you could run a 2-stroke carb on a 4-stroke. I thought 4-strokes needed an accelerator pump because the vacuum is not as strong.
Really good technical point, thanks for bringing it up Christopher.

So is this bike a ktm/Honda clone? The plastics/frame remind me of a Honda and that engine reminds me of the last generation ktm motors..
It's mostly a Honda copy. So right off the batt there's a pretty responsive frame and geometry & also a ton of aftermarket parts that can be applied to it as well!
I can also see what you're saying about the engine.

I love the lectron carbs but they are rather expensive... I wanted one for my mini bike but the cheapest one they have is like 600 fucking dollars although I have $100 rod $100 flywheel $100 cam $50 valve spring package $50 flat top piston with rings and a $40 34 mm Chinese knockoff power jet carburetor $400 clutch all packed and stacked on a $99 Predator 6.5 horsepower motor does 65 + mile per hour with only 40% throttle 1 gear 16 tooth in the front 70 tooth in the back 15 in tire my baby cooks and I haven't even ported and Polished the head yet.
Sounds like a killer project!
Our Lectron carbs are only $475 ($600 is too high)
But that's how special projects like yours go, they add up $$$ 💪
hey buddy, which is better between trailmaster tm38, SSR , or EGL¿. im leaning towards egl cause they have a 450cc, does ssr have a 450 and if so which 450 is cheaper egl or ssr
The 300’s are all the same bike just re-branded under EGL / SSR… different colors etc 😁 Get the one you like best. Not familiar with the non-SSR 450’s but the SSR 450 is a copy of the Honda CRF450X which means there are some Honda mods that work on it.
But the 2021 will come with a nice pumper carb from the factory. ruclips.net/video/zOUkrH4JonU/видео.html

Great videos always enjoy

You might as well get a second hand crf 250 or 450 which would have a lot more power than this bike.
Definitely an option. I myself am not a big fan of used four strokes. You never know how those expensive engines were cared for, or lack thereof
Wow, you vids making me look at this bike more and more! Just might pull the trigger on this one.
You'll dig it, Roland!
So a copycat honda. Why cant these Chinese companies come up with there own shit.
After setting idle did you have to readjust cable slack does the lectron set idle by air fuel or raise the slide position
It simply didn't run it's best with stock or revised jetting (first video in the series)
-Charles // mXrevival
i have the 22 xf250x dual sport and when it gets to about 70 mph it bogs and loses throttle. I have to back it down to about 65mph. Any ideas?
Hi Saron,
It would definitely be worth it but it sounds like you could also rebuild your current carburetor and be running well again!
Thanks dude! Could have been more responsible for sure!
It should have a carb with an accelerator pump. 300ex ATV carb. I put one on my 1995 KLX250R ran perfect.
I believe you, great mod!
Check out the newest video if you're interested in seeing these bikes run with different size pumper carbs 🤘
