John’s voice is still incredible and so powerful! It’s like going back in time! Excellent performance, and thank you for coming back to sing again to all of us who have listened to your music for the past 45-50 years!!
John's voice has held up better than many others from his era. He is truly blessed. John was my favorite singer from KANSAS. Hope to see him live again at some point. I have 2 other videos from this show on my Channel. Dig for them. They are worth checking out. Thanks for watching and for commenting. Stay tuned....
John was always my favorite lead singer of Kansas. Was hoping to see him again last Summer but it didn't happen. Hopefully some time again soon. Stay tuned....
I saw Mastedon in the early 90's at the Cornerstone Festival in Bushnell IL. It was one of the best concerts I've ever seen in my life...easy top 3. And I've seen a lot of concerts!
@@STLHD1 You hit the nail right on the head, my friend! Just saw John back in October and uploaded his full set. Check it out! You won't be disappointed.
Yes sir!!!! If I had a choice who to see again this year, I'd pick John over the current Kansas lineup. Plan on seeing him in the Fall. Have at least 2 other videos from this show on my Channel. Thanks for watching and for commenting, Jeff. Stay tuned...
Agree 100%! Have a couple other videos from this concert on my Channel. Plan on seeing John again in the Fall. Thanks for watching and for commenting, Jorge. Stay tuned...
Great to see someone finally comment on this. I have 2 other videos from this concert on my Channel. Look for them. I promise they are worth digging for. John Elefante is a class act.
John still sounds good here! Just curious is there a Keyboard player on stage for this song? I know John played keyboars with Kansas. I hear keyboards...lol, I know who cares!
I guess at first I kind of resented him only because in my mind nobody could replace Steve but now looking back vocally he really had the chops! I think his campy stage presence was part of my dislike but he was still learning. Forgive me John my humble apologies for being such a Debbie Downer!

Thats where we will have to agree to disagree. Steve Walsh’s voice had a tone and timbre and control ( in his prime) that was unmatched in prog rock of the ‘70’s and early 80’s. Just my opinion but those first 5 Kansas albums were the epitome of American prog. When John came on board they crossed into a more listenable mainstream style especially with the songs he wrote. Music is so subjective!
@@tomfritzsch1928 I respect everyone's opinions. I wasn't the hugest Kansas fan. I did enjoy JE a lot. They actually didn't have any big hits with him. "Fight Fire with Fire" was my favorite.

@@jukeboxhero26 My pleasure
Always loved John's voice. Followed a lot of his music when he left Kansas and went into Contemporary Christian music. His group Mastedon was great.

@shawno66 Envious! That was a great album. Went to Creation 3 times in the 1990's but never saw JE until 2022. Hope to see him again.
WOW!!!! What an amazing voice! John Elefante sounds as good as ever!
