A friend of mine, has a scope mount on an sporterized SKS, that mounts were the rear sight mounts, and uses a through bolt at the rear of the dust cover. I helped him set it up, and it's legit. Hold zero like a champ. I think it's a B Square. But I might be wrong. There's no way, that rifle could hit a billboard sign. Makes you wonder. Note that in the left side photo with all the scope crap removed it's just a regular receiver cover, no scope mount. Appears to me he just mashed a scope with rings down on the cover and then used hose clamps and electrical tape to hold it down. Further the scope is way lower than it would be if was mounted on/in a receiver cover scope mount. Also there appears would could be hot glue or maybe JB Weld oozing out from under one of the rings. Looking at it makes my brain hurt.

I've worked with a lot of SKS rifles and make custom pic rail mounts.
What he's using here is not a factory mount or if it is, it's damaged.
Look how low the front of the scope is drooping.
That rifle likely would get jammed up in a shot or two because SKS ejects almost straight up, and would 100% be deflecting off that scope and back into the action.
I think we're looking at a sorry attempt to jb weld rails on. He probably had the front one on too, but broke off during a zero if he performed one.
At the very least for this setup to work he'd need taller rings or a riser.
Most SKS rail options have your optic with a considerable height over bore.
