Hi Christophe, I see your beloved N321LB was recently sold. Hope all is well and thank you for all the great videos of her and the good times you spent flying her!
Amazing, Christophe, it was me who asked you for a pilot video - thank you! What people who have never been there don't understand is that it's also a downslope on RW10. Foreflight says 2.08%, but it's downhill the entire runway. I tell people that landing there feels like being dropped off the side of a building. You can't understand it until you experience it. And that was a wonderful tribute to your father in the last video. It's obvious now why you're such a superb pilot. Is your father still alive? Happy new year, and thanks for the video.
I have a totally crazy idea: Convince Mike Patey, once he finishes Draco X, to go there, then ask for takeoff clearance on runway 28... If Draco X has the same performance numbers as the original Draco, it should be a piece of cake - during the Oshkosh STOL games, he had to limit his climb-outs due to them being classed as aerobatic (Draco could climb a sustained 30 degree angle with no trouble, I think Mike said once he could sustain a 40 degree angle... Oshkosh limited him to 30 degrees... ;-))
I'm with it. Heck, Draco could launch from the 28 numbers and probably *choose* whether to climb out straight ahead or turn around and go out to sea. The recommended glidepath for 10 is 6 degrees. If Draco could do 30 easily? Yeah. :)
Christophe, your flying and video skills have always been fantastic. Please keep them coming as you continue to make adventures as me and my kids enjoy them lol. Happy new year from Houston!
Christophe- I really enjoyed this vid and watching your entire November trip in the Cheyenne. The practice landings at TPF were excellent prep for TFFJ. I think they should’ve “grand-fathered” you in as far as being able to land there! Anyway, I’ve been all over the Caribbean with my E55 Baron and have learned that one can never plan too much. You’re father would be very proud of you!
I remember that landing well from when you originally posted the video. It's a bit sad they changed the rules but I guess it's in everyone's best interest that they did so.
I kno this maybe a bit late to mention but I just bought ur 414 replica on my flight sim...n omg I'm already in love...n u fly the same places I do lol it's like I live ur virtual life haha 😄. N we both live in tampa ... Thank u for the videos.
Hey Christophe, beautiful video as usual! I’m so sorry that you can’t fly into St. Bart’s right now. I do hope you’ll share more of your flying adventures with us. There are tons of Caribbean islands with short runways! Just promise me you won’t try Saba Island! Lol!😝👍🏽
This Is really exciting, I enjoyed this video in each part, thank you for this work!. Only one book I was reading without to stop in my life that is "Wind, Sand & Stars". Antoine de Saint-Exupery lived in Argentina working for the Aeropostale, he carried the correspondence to Paraguay leaving from Buenos Aires at 7pm when one day he have a fault and must to land in a field near the city of Concordia in a private property of a family with specials girls, he remained there repairing your airplane so much days, the little girls they had exotic animals like pets and this meant for Antoine one big learning; from this experience is thought-out is based your book "The Little Prince" (El Principito). Well, I hope are all ok there, greetings from Argentina!⭐
Thats the "real deal" runway for sure. I'm betting you recertify! If not, you can hold onto your previous landing there in your 414. Thanks for this video and don't be a stranger!!
Unlike some people that post videos bragging about how they survived their poor decisions, I have always been impressed by your "professionalism" as a GA pilot.
salue christophe // félicitations d'un suisse pour cette manifique atterissage en 2015 !! // jusque aujourd-hui je ne jamais vue en youtoube un planeur piston fait une atterisage si controllée / stabilisée et si court..... = étonnant !
Awesome flying - I thought that the one PC12 landed a bit long, but the clip was cut short, hope he made it okay?! Awesome airfield. At least you'd already operated into there, sorry to hear it was impractical to return.
Great video. If you want to get recurrent in SBH, I can fly you there and then hook you up with an instructor in the island. The rule states 1 landing every 6 months to avoid needing a checkout. I do around 300-400 landings a year in the PC-12 at SBH.
Hey Chris. Hope all is well. I’ve been following your videos since you went for the Baron to 414XX, then to the Cheyenne. Very exited to see what new adventures the near future will bring. Would you ever fly your Cheyenne to South America, or Europe? I know the range of the plane is not the best, but it definitely has the reliability needed and something like... Patagonia, Argentina would make a great story!!!
i saw a video of a king350 in saint barth o read king air books and landing distance required was longer. chek video its in youtube approach spoed was 93 knots really amazing
Sorry you couldn’t land the Cheyenne there. I just went to St. Barts and I’m hooked. I hope to return every year. I arrived on a Tradewind PC12 and they greased it on.
Lol on that runway landing safely is already nailing the landing 🤣 being smooth is a bonus. The winds can be pretty wild there and getting the aircraft down as fast as possible is preferred over getting that butter landing.

That PC-12 is just amazing. Making it look easy.
Breathtaking video. You remind me of why I love to fly...
That was the perfect landing!!!
There are many St. Barth landing videos in RUclips. This is the best one. Merci.
Christophe. Outstanding video, totally inspiring as always. I don't know how you do it, the best avation videos on yotube without exception.
Amazing video. Thanks so much for sharing your preparation process!
Well done, Sir! I've been to St Barth before and was one of those cheesy tourists standing just below the runway. So much fun.
Absolutely nailed that landing mate, always impressive watching planes land there.
I always enjoy your videos! Hope to see more soon!

Awesome work there Christophe. As a former 414 pilot/owner, very impressed you got that big boy down there.
Fantastic. I really want to go and see this tricky approach in person.
I remember that landing well from when you originally posted the video.
It's a bit sad they changed the rules but I guess it's in everyone's best interest that they did so.
Awesome video and your Cheyanne is a beauty!!

Yay another amazing video by the one and only Christophe Jouany
Always great videos! Love the content! Find a reason to make some more on a regular basis! Blue Skies!
I only have student pilot hours. However as a passenger, I've flown into St. Barths. What an incredible experience!
nice flying from the Tradewinds PC-12 & the Caravan on amphibious floats .....have you ever flown into Courchevel ?
Thats the "real deal" runway for sure.
I'm betting you recertify! If not, you can hold onto your previous landing there in your 414.
Thanks for this video and don't be a stranger!!
The problem isn't rectifying in and of itself, it's that you have to do it ever 6 months so it makes it impractical for him
You really stuck that landing. Unreal.
whaaaaatttt a nasty Towchdown..... Sooo perfect. Congrats, great video
Nailed it. Fantastique
Great video!
Nice job I would love to see that in real life. Wow nice work

you nailed it!

Great one with the 414 !!!
Hello French pilot, thank you for your video. I will be flying in your area in less than a week.
Great video Christophe! Sorry we couldn't see you do it again...
Just play it again.
@@raleedy Ummm.....I meant do the approach again
Awesome flying - I thought that the one PC12 landed a bit long, but the clip was cut short, hope he made it okay?! Awesome airfield. At least you'd already operated into there, sorry to hear it was impractical to return.
Thanks christope
Wow Amazing landing Captain. minute 05:03
Great video.

Maybe they will make a special exemption for you. Since you've landed 2 types of fully loaded piston twin there safely already.

Victory loves preparation!
The song by M83 is a beautiful touch.

Fucking perfect touchdown Airman! My hat is off to you. ❤🛬
Looks like the Cheyenne is for sale. I hope that means it’s “upgrade” time again. :-)
Good to see this pilot again. Shame he could not bring his new turboprop in.
Sorry you couldn’t land the Cheyenne there. I just went to St. Barts and I’m hooked. I hope to return every year. I arrived on a Tradewind PC12 and they greased it on.
Now THAT'S how you do that and in a C414 to boot! Stall horn all the way to touchdown.
Amazing landing! It didnt look like you needed the wheels. You could have done it with 3 sticks in the place of the gears! :)
Excellent job Christ ,,freaking Aviation Rules make things unpractical
I'm sure it's a wind thing, but why not approach from the ocean end of the runway?
02:52 Down elevator while heavy braking.. Why??
Hey, nice work. Only one of the PC-12s nailed it as well as you. Very well done.
Lol on that runway landing safely is already nailing the landing 🤣 being smooth is a bonus. The winds can be pretty wild there and getting the aircraft down as fast as possible is preferred over getting that butter landing.
It would be cool to seeMike Patty bring Scrappy there and land t real short.
Are you upgrading to a Jet?
Aw man! you robbed us of the final and touchdown cockpit view :( … but great speed control
Can't believe that airport is legal
Ah ben c'est simpa barth quand meme
Why are you selling the plane?
Where did you see it for sale?
