Your videos have always been an inspiration, from my PPL training in 2014 through my instrument rating and plane ownership ('69 Bonanza). We actually watch these videos on our TV as a family. Really great stuff!!
Welcome back to the RUclipss Aviation! Love seeing Peter O knight and Tampa in the `shot's! Congratulations to you and your partner! Happy Holiday's and Blue Skies for 2023~ Post more videos you do such a great job! Cheers and all the best to you and your family!!!
So glad you made a new video, we have missed you. keep making vids you do such a great job. Thanks for the inspirational videos you do. I just got my single engine fixed wing license.
Great to see your videos, Christophe! Congrats on both completing the initial for the King Air, and the purchase of the SR22. You and I connected a long time ago, when you had your 414 for sale, and back then you already recommended me buying an SR22 - which I did - loved the plane, although I shortly later upgraded to a Citation (which I still have) - I often contemplate going back to the SE SR22 due to excessive MX, and fuel cost. Enjoy it, my friend.
Too cool!!! Christophe could you speak more about the Cheyenne?? What you liked about it and what you didn't and why did it go away? We are looking at one for a client. Keep posting videos please!!!
Christophe, so glad your channel popped up in my feed. Beautiful planes and great editing. Looking forward to your other videos. I’m taking lesson just south of you at 48X. It’s great to see local pilots making great content!
I gotta admit that I miss your Baron days but the transitions you've gone through are inspiring, and that King Air 250 ain't shabby! But the Cirrus will still get you to your destination in style!
Hello from Scotland! I’ve missed your videos a lot, I look forward to watching this fully later on 👍🏻 Hope you and the family are well, have a merry Christmas and a happy new year when it comes 😊 Congratulations on the new plane 👏🏻
Congrats to you on the new bird Christophe. Love your channel here (Great editing with fab music !). All the best to you and your family for the upcoming holidays. Warm hugs from cold Norway. Merci Beaucoup -
There is always pilots who want to show they know better. I have seen 2 comments telling me that taking off with flaps is stupid. The plane I am flying is a king air 250 which is a complete different beast than the KA200. taking off with flap is an option in the POH which make more sense to me on a short runway. V1 become 97kts instead of 102kts and V2 become 98kts instead of 109kts.
Very well made video! As a former multiple Cirrus owner now flying a Citation, I could see myself getting back into a Cirrus later in life when kids and career slow down. It is a very nice sweet spot of economical but safe/easy flying that really can't be beat if you don't absolutely need speed/pressurization.
Hi Christophe Congratulations on your new Cirrus! What a Beautiful aircraft. The King air isn’t to shabby either. I got worried when I saw your Cheyenne on Controller. I was wondering if more of your amazing Flying videos ? Thanks so much for sharing! Skip
Congratulations on your New Cirrus. Thanks for the video I always look forward to them. I wish you and your family a MerrY Christmas and a great New year.
Hi Christophe, I love your videos. Funny thing, I started following you 9 years ago with the dream of becoming a pilot. Fast forward 9 years and I flew a C414 from Florida to Germany, flew a C402 in Haiti, became a flight instructor and now I'm wrapping up my 767 type-rating. I'm on SXM a lot the coming year and have good friends living there too! Would be funny to run into you there. Let me know if you ever need a co-pilot hahaha cheers!
Hi Christophe.. Am so grateful for these superb and professionally edited videos. The music is also tasteful and “superloud ” on headphones! 😳 Perhaps you have some other unseen film parts (especially Bahamas) that could be edited into a new video? However, I realize that you are probably very busy and may not have so much time these days to work on films. Be Safe and Well and I wish you always good flying.
Hello from Texas Christophe, congratulations on this new beautiful bird. I hope this means more videos more frequently lol. Hope all is well and Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Great to see another video. I agree SR22 is very easy to land, and it is the best single available. I moved into a DA62, which is similar in capability but much more efficient and modern. Wish cirrus would install FADEC and jetA burning engine, join 21st century. Both are great planes.
They “real” pilots are a major obstacle for plane manufacturers to go FADEC. They think they can do a better job than computer by fiddling manually with 3 or 6 knobs.
@@PatrickMichalina it can go up to 31k feet just limited for other reasons I think. Anyone who flies a SR22 at 25k feet May do it one or 2 times, but wearing the mask is a joke and a hassle. I go up to 18-19 and do fine w my oxygen system.
@@wilzboyz sorry I meant service facilities with mechanics who understand how to work on the airplane. It isn’t a classic Lycoming/continental that many mechanics are used to working on.
Always enjoyed your videos and editing since the Baron. I have been following you since the baron.I actually flew your old baron b4 you owned it. Hope I can run into you sometime at Peter O knight.
Awesome video as always Christophe. The G1000 with the ahars is excellent. I got checked on a redbird sim and in a 182. I don't like the fact that G1000 interpolates the amount of fuel you have. I would guess in the Kingair you also have to input the amount of fuel?
Once again thank you for taking the time to make this great productions and sharing your flying experience with all of us. Do you care expanding a little bit more about your choice to go into a small single engine piston? (coming from twin turboprops). The grass always looks greener on the other side. I am currently flying a high performance single engine piston aircraft planning into stepping up to a C414/421 in the future. You already did that and setepped up from that to turbines and now back into the singles. WIth the price of a what you probably paid for a SR22Cirrus im not sure that fuel cost alone was the main driver for your descision?. With all the overwater flying you do wouldnt you miss the C414? Baron? you probably already have a lot of video imaging from all of your planes and could probably make a short little video comparing your prior aircrafts and sharing your through process leading you to buy a cirrus (Vs a twin engine piston)for us aviation nerds planning or dreaming into stepping up from our current single engine pistons.
It depend where you are in your pilot journey. All my planes were great. At the beginning you want the biggest, the fastest and for some of us you want the experience of renovating a old bird. This come at a tremendous price financially and a lot of downtime. The baron was a great plane but then I got tired of wearing mask in the 20’s and wanted a pressurized airplane, the 414 was awesome but these cabin class twin piston are so old everything brake on you constantly and the plane spend more time at your mechanic than in flight. Then of course you want the MAC daddy and move to turbine . The Cheyenne was great but some parts are no longer available and I found myself buying parts on eBay non refundable not knowing if they would work. Scary proposition. Insurance are crazy expensive and now with the price of jet fuel flying at 100 gals per hour was getting crazy expensive. I always wanted to get a cirrus at one point. This one is perfect, latest generation and still under warranty. I had to try. Who knows what will be next? If you go for a old bird be ready to spend way more money than you had calculated.
Not my personal choice to be honest. Turboprops are noisy in cockpit and cabin. They fly nice and I do like them however for the price I'd choose a low hour jet any day. It's a personal choice but as someone used to pure jet performance both small GA and commercial heavy, I simply cannot go back to props. Happy Xmas!
Glad you back...thanks for toast us this beuatiful experince and images.

King Air's are great airplanes. Manual flight controls, electric landing gear, PT-6 engines probably the ultimate in dependability. FLY NAVY!!!
SO GLAD TO FIND YOUR CHANNEL

Welcome back, Christophe!
You just keep moving up! :-) I'm going to miss the Cheyenne though.
Flew the kingair 200 for many years great to see how they have been upgraded.
Greetings from Kenya. Great video. I think the Sling Tsi will give the SR 22 a run for its money!
Very Well Done Video. Love the accent.
New sub. love the content. keep it up!
Beautiful video beautiful aircraft 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
We’ve missed you!!!
Thanks Christophe..........missed youre videos.
The beginning song is from one of my favourite movies. Flight of the Phoenix 2004. Everyone reading this ought to watch it.
Well done Christophe nice talking the other day Christian 🎉
