What a noble Radames! Magnificent emission of the sound and beautiful majestic sonority of real YOUNG HERO's voice! The best cantabile in the slowest tempo - a great lesson for any singer!

    esecuzione troppo lenta!!!
ma Gedda ha classe e fraseggia in modo esemplare con acuti folgorante e un legato da manuale! grazie

He was a nearly vocal alchemist. The slow tempo, dark timbre, shining last note. - unbelievable. I guess it is a recording only. But in the title - live performance? Is it possible?

Maybe you are right and this wasn't a live performance.

@@Herur22It does not matter. He was simply the best. He always put his soul into singing. Always...Also in the cases when he lost and performance is not as good as usual. I have a few singing gods: Leontyne Price (She was the first opera singer I met nearly 40 years ago. She is responsible for my opera admiration), Shirley Verrett, Franco Bonisolli, Leonard Warren, Nicolai Gedda, Jon Vickers, and a few others. I can forgive nearly anything to them.
