Good tips, thanks. I should have thought to trim out from my clips in the mobile app the intervals where I was stopped *before* starting to edit my Hyperlapse video, sent at that point there is no way to do any trimming.

when X2 came out i got it, but it was Battery heating quickly..and killed my SD card (or something was wrong with card) and i didn't like apps that time..i use Android..returned it..and got gopro max, it was mistake because size,and weight..i don't think gopro max compare X2 should be Meh list..to bulky and heavy..and size big..decision made last week and got insta360 X2 again..seems apps and firmware better..i say better because i liked..and not test for heat but hopping is better too..so far i liked..and works great with Samsung note 20.. do you think they will come with 3rd generation? here is another thing..i use dji pocket 2..yeap i like it that little beast..i hope they add new future which "pocket 2 start recording..hey pocket 2 stop recording..or take pic.." voice command will be very useful with..what do you think? can we tell Dji make it true? ah not with pocket 3 just do with 2
Great video! I am a videographer and mainly do wedding. I would like to explore a possible to do 360 or 3D videos/photos for businesses but little bit confuse in between both of those types. What can be a good thing to start with or other business look for? Is that 3D or 360? Thanks in advance.
its 360, so basically the video these cameras record allows you to pick and alternate between any viewing angle in post (as it records 360 video of the scene) and its also possible to duplicate and have 2 or more angles of the same point in time.
Hi Ben, I'm struggling to create smooth hyperlapses with gradual pan transition : with direction lock disabled, the view point is spinning on it self, between key frames , forcing me to add a huge amount of keyframs for correcting, which never turns out into a smooth result. Situation doesn't change much even with direction locked enabled. I guess I'm doing something wrong but can't figure out...
@@BenClaremont thanks for that... I wish I had known it was a switch that was turned on/off in POST... as I could not find it in the camera settings during recording :-)
the problem is that the "motion blur effect" cannot be parameterized, it's only on or off, and sometimes it's too much, is there a way to decrease this effect ^
@@erbu360 The simple answer is: the stabilisation is much less effective when there are one or two seconds between each frame. The view will change far too much between frames if the camera can only take one shot every second, especially if you're moving on a fast vehicle. And the other reason is, creative control. You can always speed up different sections of the video to suit your liking. If you film directly in HL mode you're stuck with whatever setting you chose at the time and you can't un-hyper-it. Starting with the max frames you can get and accelerating the parts you want gives you maximum latitude to create the video the way you want. 👍

Hi Ben, thank you for the great video. I have one question. Do you speed up the video first or do you set the keyframes first?
It should be sped up first, then afterwards add keyframes. You will encounter issue if you do it the other way around.

7:00 correct me here but imo you should pivot only two times and afterwards just leave it slow in 4x mode. much more details and equally fast shot.

Check your studio software also has direction lock off?

It was recorded in normal mode and afterwards he changed the speed. But it’s good question. @Ben: Why didn’t you record in Hyperlapse mode?

There is no such thing as hyperlapse mode. You record a normal video and edit it into a hyperlapse 👍
