This is happening every where. Even the gullies in residential Eureka CA, sinking roads, washouts- Another great “news” video. You are the local news I agree! It’s nature taking back what’s hers!
The ocean is slowly reclaiming the land. They have a beautiful view from there, but I wouldn’t want to live that close to the ocean. The same is happening further south. Pacifica got hit pretty bad.
Great coverage Mike. Really appreciate your videos. That was one hell of a storm combined with the tides. Landscape is forever changing for sure!
Thank you for the video. Sad about Pebble Beach Drive and the huge cost. Such a beautiful drive. One of California's most scenic. Short but majestic.
You’re more like a local news channel. Thanks

Was that the king tide and the large waves of the last couple weeks that caused this? Or did the soil just get so wet that it just sloughed?
we had an incredible amount of rain a few days ago..Id say rain..
How do they fix that?
ducktape! LOL....Im wondering the same thing?
@@gasquetmike8320 I think they will move the road and pump epoxy cement? Will be interesting to watch, wager you'll post progress.
Riprap and then fill perhaps? Please keep us updated on the progress Mike!
Good thing Caltrans isn't in charge. They would have to do years of studies involving more studies and many proposals...
