If there's anywhere in the state with more annual deadfall, I don't know where it would be. Took a spring hike in the Trinity mtns in that general area a long time ago, and the trail conditions were unbelievable. I live in the mountains in East Tennessee. My week in Jedediah Smith State park watching guys catch salmon was top 10 for me so far. My truck was parked beside a tree with bark I could stand in. I can't explain it to people here. Amazing place.

What's up Mike I spent a lot of time out there in the Smith river area I was a salmon and steelhead restoration specialist at rowdy creek fish hatchery, I Had an encounter near our CCC base that was right at the mouth of the klamath river just South of the trees of mystery,1995

Mike your vids always bring back many fond memories of my 20 years with US Forest Service and like many this video trigged some long lost memories for me and my time spent in the El Capitan area so here's an idea for some more good Drone footage, go back to the El Capitan area with one of your new drones and there is a big Uvarovite (Chromium) Mine about 3/4 mile SW of El Capitan on Cyclone Ridge near the Headwaters area of Clear Creek is the Cyclone Gap Mine (Mammoth Mine). GPS: 41.86250,-123.62167 When I was USDA/FS Mining Inspector I was out there in the 1980's and part of the Mill Site and a Log Cabin to the N in the tree line were still standing but I just looked on Google Earth and all I can see are several large Tailings Piles so if your up for it fly on out to the Cyclone Gap Mine and if you'll check out the tree line just N you might spot that Log Cabin too. Approximate GPS location to the Log Cabin: 41.862308, -123.622904 Side note: if anyone reading this wants to hike out to Cyclone Ridge and the Cyclone Gap Mine there is a good marked trail from Youngs Meadows starting at 41.880293, -123.628893 HAPPY NEW YEAR MIKE and to all of my Extended RUclips Family🎆
