    This is great business advice. I'm not even in the detailing business, but fantastic advice telling people to make $1,000 BEFORE they start investing hundreds of dollars into their business.
    The fact is that most people who say they are going to start a business never do. Most people who say they are going to get into shape never do. It's easy to pay a gym membership fee, but it's hard to consistently workout. It's easy to purchase a generator, but it takes courage and hustle to acquire customers.
    No sense spending $1,000+ on a generator until you first prove to yourself that you are willing to do what it takes to be in business -- which is putting yourself out there in front of people.

  • @SuperMaxCarp
    @SuperMaxCarp 3 года назад +20

    I get it, not having one when you start out makes sense. But just think of how many more customers you can get when you market yourself as someone who brings along their own water and electric to the customer regardless of where they are at. It's all of your own equipment that you know how to use rather than depend on what the customer provides.

    Great video, I nearly bought a generator when I first started but you learn to adapt processes that don't need electricity. Customers don't mind you using their electric so just get a decent extension lead, after researching generators the general line is Honda are the best out there and worth every penny. Even though they do cost more, they are cheaper in the long run.
