- Hermitcraft season 9 episode 19! We build a mega automatic storage system with multi-item filters. It's the ultimate chest monster eliminator! The storage system will be built into the main street buildings in my Disneyland Minecraft base. We pay Pearl back for organizing my Chest monsters into a concise and organized system. But we do it in a fun way...hehe

Orrr shulker boxes. You can easily break a chest and get the diamonds. A shulker you have to open every single box. 🙃

Now that Scar is learning redstone, imagine his theme park consisting of moving light-shows, amazing theme park rides, jelly waving at people while being in the ride, zombiecleo's armor stand disney characters along the rides. I mean the possibilities are endless. Can't wait to see what scar will bring for us in the next episodes!! He's really one of the best content creators I've come across.

Hey Scar, if you are going to continue the park, I would recommend to have one of your decoy buildings as a secret entryway for the underground space. You could connect with your storage and be capable of going up to your park incase you run out of ender pearls

You almost definitely wont see this but "Don't let the cat out of the bag" is the saying you were going for I think and it has a really interesting story behind it.
Back when the British royal navy was doing British royal navy stuff with the whole conquering and privateering thing there was a whip on the ship called the "cat o'nine tails' and, as you might expect, it was used to deliver punishments to crewmen. One theory is that the saying comes from quartermasters who would say it in a way to mean "Stop doing stuff that I will punish you for or the whip is coming out".
The other theory is something to do with some sort of scam where people would buy a suckling pig in a sack from a market only to find out that it was actually a cat inside the sack and not a pig. Cats being much cheaper than pigs. Hence the scam.
So 'cat bag' could be the way in which the whip was stored or the, almost more of a wives tale, suckling pig scam thing. :) Enjoyed the video just wanted to share some POSSIBLE information :)

You should really do some "Learning Redstone with..." streams where other hermits (doc, impulse tango?) teach you redstone, that would be fun!

This episode has left me so proud of you, Scar! You made an automatic storage system (that even works), incorporated it into the Disney theme, paid Pearl, made ANOTHER amazing shulker monster creature, and lit up a chunk of your base! And all while you're under the weather! Absolutely amazing job, so proud of you and also so inspired and excited for the future

Hey scar, you can reduce the hopper lag by putting composters over any hoppers that are just open to anything above them
The issue with this is that the vast majority of the storage system appears to not have open air above it. I had the same thought while watching however I dont think it will help much of anything in this case.
ohhh is that why people use composters in a lot of redstone builds?

From Scar's base, Grian's base looks REALLY phallic.
I know grian is a good builder but yeah grian's base is smol compared to scars massive base, spanning from the shopping district to grian/mumbo's base

Scar! The progress in this episode was incredible. Building that storage system, while also learning many of the technologies seemingly from scratch, the massive diamond mining operation and, last but not least, the beautiful chest monster prank inside Pearl's mountain.
Hyped for the gaming district, they were so much fun in previous seasons!
That was nice of you... I genuinely thought that the diamonds would be randomly dispersed throughout the chestmonster's lair once you revealed it.
Man I'm always impressed with Scar builds, but between this and his journey in MCC I'm super impressed by Scar's effort to learn new things and the joy he gets when he does

@@Japuckle he knows what it means, you watch it again, notice how he had full health and took two hearts of damage because of the enderpearl yet he had 7 hearts meaning that was his second enderpearl (which you can also see by the amount of enderpearls in his inventory going from 16 to 14)
@@Andre-gn4sj yes, it was a cut. But not a cutscene. A cutscene is in for example a game, when the player loses control over the character and it plays a little video. This was a cut, but not a cutscene

You mean the utilidors Walt designed to not break people's immersion in the parks? Yeah they exist. Its why that lake exists in front where the contemporary, Polynesian, and grand floridian hotels are. They needed the soil to build up the land around the Utilidors, and my home state is known for its high water table, et voila. Lake.
Its true, u can search it up on yt. Theres like a vid of a staff there showing the tunnel where actors can change and travel quickly

There is a magical item that would save you from the lower-level mobs. To enlighten you it is crafted from coal/charcoal and a stick, and it gives you TORCHES!

Scar to help with lag put compostors on top of any hopper that has nothing above them. Sorry for any spelling mistake I also have dyslexia

@@karamelalb2328 okay...so hoppers with nothing above them will check for falling/dropping items through that entire block space every tick.
If you put composters on top, it stops checking all over the place and only checks to see if the composter is full
(Before composters, we used to put droppers on top of hoppers so it would only check 9 places. But composters are only a single slot, so there's lots less lag).
Building such a cool storage system can only be achieved by a redstone genius like you! Thanks so much for the shoutout Scar!!! 🤗

Did not think I would see the day when Scar's redstone skill far surpassed my own ability.
i doubt anyone will see this, but scar is such a genuinely beautiful person. he is wholesome, funny, kind and so so caring. his tribute to tfc last episode was beautiful and what he said about there always being someone out there who loves you brought me to tears as you could tell it came from the heart. when he is building/ talking about his builds, you can tell from his voice just how much genuine passion he has and the joy creating builds gives him, and it is amazing that he is spreading this joy to the world in such a fantastic way. he is one of the few people that i find truly joyous in this horrible world. from the bottom of my heart, scar, thank you, you are an amazing person and i hope you know that now and forever

Yeah, it’s a mod (I think it’s called fluid motion or something like that) it makes mobs look like they’re really moving. Bdubs talked about it in one of his episodes for a bit
it's always so exciting to see a scar upload notification because you just know he'll have something absolutely amazing to show off and as always this didn't disappoint. from the lighting details to the insane storage system to the chest monster, this was a delightful video.
At first i thought - aw man the main storage system is themed as the garbage area.. maybe a missed oppertunity - But then Scar explained the whole shulker box/ garbage offloading recycling type area and i love it so much! - You sir are a master! In the video game and just design in general in all aspects! Design, theme, hardwork, execution. You never stop impressing me =)
