Hermitcraft season 9 episode 45! We are back on Hermitcraft to finish the entrance building with a mega landscape and some fun surprises. We now have special park tickets to enter the park through the turnstiles. Impulse did a fantastic job building the Scarland turnstiles Redstone. I hope you liked the opening Scarland after a year and a half of building my dream Minecraft base. I've wanted to build my own inspired version of Disneyland / DisneyWorld in Minecraft as a dream survival base. I hope you like it and see you in the next episode of Hermitcraft!

I think you should do the sci fi land as it already kinda got started and you can bring Grian over to talk about Star Wars
I'd suggest the futuristic one, to get advantage of the X Wing being already there

That ending monologue was really touching. Seeing how Scar has wanted to do something like this for most of this life, and it finally happened, is just truly incredible.

I was smiling so much watching the video the while way through. Seeing Scar's Mum with a Scarland shirt made me laugh with delight. I have loved watching this journey as you build Scarland through S9, and hearing you talk about how far this dream has come with you through life. Someone at Disney must be watching, this man needs to be an Honorary Imagineer ASAP!

I hope Season 9 lasts long enough for you to finish this base, or at least that you somehow keep working on it after it ends. This project is so awesome and personal, I really really hope we get to see it complete, for our sake AND yours!
Same! I believe though they talk about when to end it and it gives them enough time to finish projects. My guess it’s gonna end by at least this year 😢 but I’ll definitely be excited for season 10.
For some reason I think season 9 will last for a long time, they sort of mentioned that in Season 8. I feel it will be ending somewhere late 2024. I prefer longer seasons so they can do stuff like this or Tango with Decked Out.
@@DanihelMetalPromotion I honestly really doubt that. On streams hermits have been discussing planning the next season and all that (though no details of course). I reckon they're waiting for Tango's Decked Out to be done, and play that for a bunch of weeks and that's that, I reckon. Heck, for a minute I seriously thought they were just going to end the season and just port Tangos base (and Decked out to the new world, lol)
@@Rhaifha well if they would port the big projects over I'd be ok with that. I really dislike not seeing projects finished or rushed. It puts a bad kind of energy with the ending. Also I don't watch streams so I have no idea what is discussed there. Don't have time for that, they're way too long.
@@Rhaifha apparently joe said on stream recently that the only very rough estimate theyve made for the end of the season so far is Q1 2024, but with how many projects are still ongoing i can see it going past that at least a little bit

It's not the biggest or most detailed but it's definitely the most creative and that's why it's my favorite base!
I'd be willing to argue on the details part. Literally every single building was created by scar and has it's own unique style on main street. Not to mention all of the backstage stuff that he's doing to truly make it a theme park. @@themlgguy9870

Scar’s monologue at the end was so touching. Watching this project grow into something amazing from episode 1 has been so so fun, and you can bet I’m dragging my friends to Scarland when the season nine world download is released!
Listening to Scar at the end of the video explaining where the idea came from for Scarland was a very special and touching moment that brought tears to my eyes.

I think since there's so many MASSIVE projects this season that it'll easily become the longest season ending with the completion of Scarland
I feel like the first part of season had a realllly slow burn, a lot of the Hermits seemed to be burnt out, some left for a bit, they did the Empires collab, took some more breaks, but it feels like they're getting their mojo back and the season is revitalzed again and its great

You never realize how huge Scar Land is because everyone is always flying.
Favourite moments: Scar nailing the bed mlg, his headphones falling off, the turnstiles and the ticket hat, the wonderful message at the end, and seeing irl Scar. This episode has truly been a treat. Oh, and also him talking to Jellie. That was a-mazing!

24 thousand visitors in the first hour. Amazing. Your base is imaginative and creative. You have such a talent for what you do and we’re all grateful that you persevered so you could show us your dream.
51k in the first 2 hours is incredible! And it just keeps going up. It's well deserved and this episode is so emotional for Scar, who has spent his whole life building to this moment, and to us, who have been here every step of the way. This has got to be my favorite HC base of all time and I cannot wait for the world download

This was beautiful, all of it. The visual staging, the colour palletes, the emotional vulnerability, the cohesive world building - the attention to DETAIL! Not everyone has the resources to hit up Disney irl, but eventually everyone will be able to visit Scarland, and theres a magic to that. Wholesome af.

One little thing that I just noticed about Scarland that I love is that when you are far enough away, the fog makes the castle look like the old Walt Disney Pictures logo - the one that’s just a light blue castle silhouette on a darker blue background. Anyways, I’m so happy to see Scarland ready to open, and can’t wait to see other Hermits enjoy it!
scar i just wanna let you know that as an artist you are such an amazing inspiration. and not just in artistic ability, but also in your philosophies about art. every time i watch an episode of yours im reminded of how important it is to have fun with it, and let your truest passions run free. i have absolutely loved every episode since i started watching in season 7. keep having fun and making what your heart desires! :)

Suggestion for you Scar. When they exit the ticket stands, have it spit out a ticket renamed with "[USED]" infront of it, this can stop sneaky hermits using tickets twice!
scarland is the prettiest minecraft build I've ever seen thank you so much for creating this master piece. I really can't wait to see the other hermits wander around scarland and explore its beauty, I really hope you can eventually add fuctional rides.

Scar, I (and probably most of your subscribers) am so proud of all the progress you've made in building this dream you had as a kid, bringing a thought to life over this year-and-a-half. The biggest reason I'm dropping a like on this video is the MLG bed save in this episode. That's one of the best falling saves I've seen. MLG water bucket is common, but MLG bed is style!

i feel that VIP tickets should be won from within scarland by winning a game, so hermits have to pay to get in, pay to attempt the game to win prizes and only lets those that have truly experienced scarland have VIP tickets.

I really loved the message at the end about following your dreams. Sometimes in life things don't go the way you expect (more often than not!), and it's hard to let go of what could have been. Scar's touched the lives of millions of people and brought so many smiles to so many different faces over the years, my own included

Hearing Jellie meowing in the background put a smile on my face. I just recently lost my buddy Leo to illness and hearing her reminded me of all the times he would talk to me about his food or whatever was going on. Thanks Scar for leaving that interaction in the video.
