- In my recent Non Euclidean Minecraft videos, I've received a few comments and requests surrounding the Backrooms creepypasta. I've seen a lot of Reddit stories, videos, and lore about the specifics of the Backrooms themselves, and other similar liminal spaces. For today's video I took it upon myself to try and create something that would create a similar experience to being stuck in the Backrooms using the power of Non Euclidean Minecraft! This is still to me one of the best Minecraft mods 1.16.5 has to offer, however, full disclosure, I'm starting to learn about the Create mod; lemme know if you wanna see that in a future video, or any other Minecraft 1.16.5 mods for that matter. If you clip further through the back rooms you go into deeper levels of the back rooms which is VERY VERY BAD.

I’ve made a much smaller version of this before, with and without portals, each time I used smooth sandstone for the walls, I bet you should do the same, considering that smooth sandstone looks disturbingly like the backrooms wall paper. Just a suggestion tho. Also really good vid

well, why did u jst nocliping at the backrooms, if u noclipped to get to there, imagine to get to the backrooms 2.0
Make a sequel and fill it with traps as well (standard trapdoors, fire, etc.) or Euclidean visual tricks (upside-down rooms, rooms that make you smaller etc)
Protip: in the config menu of IP, you can disable rendering yourself in portals
Handy, but leaving it on is cooler.

I have an idea!
An infinite hallway that seems to become more dangerous and creepy the further you go and using the large and small portals, you can make a really strange and creepy atmosphere including some of the Mutant and Infection mods. add some really unsettling ambiance and you have a dangerous and horror style hallway
the mutant and infection stuff make it shitty and less scary
Can you try to make the infinite IKEA? It would be similar to the backrooms.

There's something magically dark about a supernatural maze being so effective as to trap its creator.
This seems fun, wonder if there would be some activities with the maze! Nice idea, love it even though I'm not a Minecraft player myself
Ah yes, the most mentally horrifying rooms of all time, being mazes with “fun puzzles”.
I recommend letting invisible Endermen inside, so they behave like "The Smilers"

You should make one or two significant objects so that the player notices that he’s going in circles

You should use inward wrapping on this! Then it will truly go forever. The exit would be just another portal you hide somewhere.

Don’t put the portals in the center but the edges of the blocks, it renders better and doesn’t look as jank, it’s probably less buggy as well.
I absolutely love that you used the lemmino music at the start. i love that track
Walls should be yellow concrete or yellow terracotta ("the madness of mono-yellow"), and the floors should be wool or at least carpeted ("the stink of old moist carpet"). Pretty impossible to simulate "the endless noise of fluorescent lights at maximum hum-buzz" in-game, unless you put space inside the walls and fill it with bees or something, but you did really well on that part in editing the video.
That's very cool! By the way, Endstone would make the perfect yellow walls. Thanks for doing this.

Build a somewhat straightforward building, but then add some vents which have no foot in reality and are a really confusing way to get around the main building
now all we need is a horrible scary entity which is fully black, a texture pack which makes everything darker, and a custom music disc with ambience

Rarely,you can find red rooms with dim lighting. You shouldn’t go in those rooms. I’m sad you forgot about that.

Ya know, I’ve been wondering why all of these videos about non-Euclidean Minecraft seemed so nostalgic to me, and then I got recommended a JesperTheEnd video and it all made sense. This mod is just one big Jesper map.
Omg this is so cool, I kinda wanna recreate this with various “levels” like the backrooms stories, and mayhaps peppering in a mob or two

I have 2 Ideas!
3 one way portals.
Hide the entrance with one so you never can get back to the beginnning.
You could make the beginning room recognizable.
And put one way portals on both sides of the exit so that following
the right or left side wall will never lead you out!
The trick that everyone knows to leave a maze will help keep them inside.

Make The Shining hotel! Basically a hotel that has weird layout, like a maze. But hotel...
If you're ever lost in a Euclidean maze, simply hug one side wall and follow it. worst case scenario, you hit every dead end along the way, but you are guaranteed to eventually find the exit. I have no idea if the same applies to non-euclidean mazes.
I constantly have dreams of entering buildings with infinite rooms. It goes on, with no dead ends.

Tip for making sure logs are all synced up/going the correct direction: use the fill command and replace the logs with themselves.
Also, love that you designed Level 0 of the backrooms. Now to make a sequel designed around level 1: Which looks like a warehouse/unfinished building or whatever. Look it up. The backrooms have an infinite amount of levels with different themes for each.

Two things you should use redstone lamps and set them in a loop to flicker, just in every other other room, and you should use concrete or some other white like or yellow like block to really help with the loop feeling
Quick tip: clone makes the cloned content appear in the lowest coordinate set, like the 0,0,0 or in the f3 menu the part where the lines intersect.
Learned this through another channel that makes really cool command videos
The Shining hotel would work great for this sort of subtle architecture changing mod.
